VF Tuner for the Lotus Emira

I am perplexed by the random bricking thing. Clearly something is up, and hopefully it’s now been root caused.

I’ve used several different ecu from mat, some of which I bricked myself by having car turn off during code flash, and I’ve never had one arrive a brick. But I can’t say why that is. Not denying the bricks exist and are a problem.

I feel guilty bc my car has been fast as shit for the past year using VF, although as the dev car, there’s been ups and downs (which is what I signed up for).

I wish everyone could have driven my car on our last g/s high score combo cal/firmware, it was crispy and supercar fast. I say that having owned several.

Until I have Dynos of my car making power, I’m laying low here. This forum is a zoo.

I will be paying for my next Dynos to avoid any claims of bias. I will also provide baseline and logs.

Enough real ones know who I am, my credibility is unimpeachable. It either will make the power or it won’t.

We have concluded the problem is the blank clones. During this whole ordeal with these clones we unlocked 2 separate FE vehicles on their stock ECUs, completely trouble free.

We went back and checked every single car that we have done, and not a single car with an unlocked original ECU has ran into this issue, only the vehicles that got unlocked blanks. (3 vehicles from us, 1 from Habibi)
ALL have one single thing in common: Cloned Blanks.
The conclusion now is the blank clones, as the only vehicles that have this problem are ones that also have the blank clones.


We also have someone who just sent in their AT Emira ECU and TCU. So we will be cracking the TCU too over the next week or two. There is still quite a bit of people working with us privately for their cars but they do not want to talk on this forum because it is so hostile here. Contrary to the consensus on this forum, we just had 3 more ECUs sent to us for unlocks. (2 ECU, 1 TCU). These people are just not on this forum (or maybe they are) but don't want any of the hostility.

So since September we have 5 more cars ECUs. (unrelated to the clone blank vehicles with issues). And have not ran into a problem on these.


We even had a FE resend us his ECU, updated it to our newer Unlock architecture, sent it back to him, and again...problem free.

These customers are not here posting on this forum and honestly I don't blame them, the people who *do* post that they are tuned completely trouble free are *completely ignored.*

There is another full bolt on Emira going on the dyno for custom tuning tomorrow afternoon as well...

This forum is not a place ppl w working tuned cars want to be lol. They fear lotus is watching and honestly, the car is so fun with an extra 150whp, it’s hard to care about forums
