Lotus Emira V6 ECU Tune - Bench Flash

I have a google sheet that calculates it, I need to add the Emira gear ratios, axle, and tire diameters to the sheet though. If someone has a link to a doc with the Emira's gear ratios PM me it and I'll update the sheet.

You can just make a copy of it.

I updated my sheet with Evora Standard/Close ratios. I didn't find a definitive source on the final drive ratios for the twin mainshaft, used what was out there. I calculated the adjusted ratios for 5th and 6th using the two final drive ratios I found for the split mainshaft. I think the Emira uses the close ratio set. Car is parked for winter, so its not like I can get out there with a GPS and hold 5th @ 60mph and look at engine RPM then compare to the table.

Based onto MWR website, which says 333kph in 6th gear at 7200rpm, I'm close as my table with the close ratio gear set shows 207.6mph (334.1kph). Most of its probably rounding errors.

Self tuning will not be released until a later time.
We will eventually release end user access, but not yet.

Regarding "DTC deletes."
I get that we all love modifying our vehicles, however Deleting DTCs / Deleting emissions reporting / etc is still a federal crime (if located within the USA).
Not interested in deleting. I want them, they are handy, however not being able to calibrate a new Lambda etc is annoying. Also if you wish to run higher fuel rail pressure, though factory unit will need upgrading etc. Basically give me a Motec M150 ;)

Does anyone have a link for the 2.8 pulley belt?
Jokerz has a number of pulleys to choose from for our platform including a 2.8. Worth a look.

Sorry for the lack of updates, have had some personal family things happen, and we are swampppppped with work.

On top of that we are having some issues getting our 2025 Emira to get into "dyno mode" on our hub dyno.
Our other test car is getting warranty work done.

All will be coming together very soon.

our flash solution is 100% *done* though, so if you're on the fence, there really isn't a need to be. Flashing/tuning is all already completely done. Tuning will just improve and customers get access to updates as they roll out.

That being said, for any inquiries (customers, potential customers, anything) please EMAIL our support@ovtune.zendesk.com , I am not always available for forum PMs, especially right now with some family stuff going on.

Understood. Thanks for the update.

Hopefully you got the dyno mode sorted out? Took forever for us to figure it out on a dynapack.

Didn't know there was a dyno mode for these cars. Just disabling TC in some manner?

Lotus seen to be constantly pushing out software updates for these cars to fix issues etc.

Once the ECU is tuned will we have to stop getting the updates?
Is the tune based on an older version of the software that might not have the latest fixes included?

Is it any different in the 2025 as previous models?

Ours is a dynapack and it simply just won't do it... that + being backlogged on work (and some family things) has me a little delayed

Typically, once you’re on the dyno, you drive the car until the ABS light comes on before you make any pulls.
Precisely! In our situation it took about 1 or 2 minutes running it in order for the ABS light to come on and be in dyno mode.

we have 3 extra pulleys here.

2.8 = direct bolt on for stock belt. Good increase in power
2.65/2.6 = Major upgrade, new belt needed

We are offering, anyone who orders an Emira Tune kit from us, you can choose from one of these (first come first server) included free with purchase.

Which pulley will you be using and what other modifications will be used when you finally get it on the dyno?

we will be doing only "bone stock"

We already have plenty of tune results on different pulleys on the Evora, and they are *basically* the exact same car as this. Doing all that work again really serves no genuine purpose. The results will be basically the same as the Evora. It's same engine, same everything.
Our Test customer is full bolt on 2.6 pulley so "maxxed out" basically.

Are all three pulleys safe to run with your standard tune or will there be different tunes?
