Lotus Emira V6 ECU Tune - Bench Flash

Looks good, looking forward to whatever solution you come up with for the i4

Proof We can flash them.
This is an Emira ECU.
Fast Flashing takes about 10 seconds.
Full Cal Flash +/- about a minute or so.

This thread advertising flashed ECUs started nearly 6 months ago.
Without reading 17 pages, is anyone on here actually driving around with one now?

Maybe I just need another coffee, but this seems like an oddly confrontational or snarky thing to say just as VF get to the point of making the process customer friendly.

I'm quite sure I recall at least one car is driving around with a bench flash, and OBD is a recent development.

I think you need another coffee. Seems like a legit post, hoping to avoid reading 17 pages, but that's just my view.

That said: COME ON MiamiBlue; stop being so *#!$&#* lazy and just read those 17 pages!

Note: no animals were injured (intentionally or otherwise) making this post; hopefully all of us "animals" can get along on this one planet we inhabit. (lol)

17 page TDLR.
1. We bought an Emira to start R/D.
2. Emira got lemoned after 300 miles.
3. Development continued, at a slower pace.
4. Everything is done, has already been initially tested on a car, they posted showing they can rev higher.
5. That car will get Dyon'd here soon and will show flashing, etc.
6. Our new Emira *should* be here this weekend I hope.
7. We will show off a video of us flashing and tuning our Brand New Emira as proof.

Good news. I'll order this as soon as there are a few cars out and about in the wild with the remap and everyone's happy with it.

After having a very bad experience with a piggyback device (not on an Emira btw) I'll never touch one again and only get a proper software remap.

Same here, and also waiting for the warranty to expire!

Fair call. I put my hands up and apologise. But also think MiamiBlue is a lazy *$£&@% 😜

Question, what about service items etc like calibrating for a new Lambda sensor?

Or for that matter, turning off CEL's related to the high flow downpipes or for that matter the crazies running straight pipes. Will you be able to turn these off?

Yep, if it turns it into an ECU where I can access everything then its well worthwhile. Jubu Syvecs would be fine as well but Im going from one locked ECU to another locked ECU

See 4, sounds like it will be locked.

Self tuning will not be released until a later time.
We will eventually release end user access, but not yet.

Regarding "DTC deletes."
I get that we all love modifying our vehicles, however Deleting DTCs / Deleting emissions reporting / etc is still a federal crime (if located within the USA).
