this is 7500.Do my eyes deceive me or did you get the rev limiter to 7,400 RPM?
How about telling it not to look for certain o2 sensor signals? Therefore preventing the DTC?Self tuning will not be released until a later time.
We will eventually release end user access, but not yet.
Regarding "DTC deletes."
I get that we all love modifying our vehicles, however Deleting DTCs / Deleting emissions reporting / etc is still a federal crime (if located within the USA).
Hey Savanna7. It looks like the "VF Tuner Upgraded Supercharger lid crew" may morph into a "VF Tuner V6 Emira ECU Tune" fan club (lol). Great news about being able to surpass the annoying rev limiter engine cut-out. Watching this thread (like others) with interest and cheering on VF Tuner from the sidelines! That redline alone has me ready to make the move... I would love to dyno this car before making the move. I also have your SC lid to install and wouldn't mind having numbers before then as well.
soon for sure.Any update on when we will see the dyno run?
I have a google sheet that calculates it, I need to add the Emira gear ratios, axle, and tire diameters to the sheet though. If someone has a link to a doc with the Emira's gear ratios PM me it and I'll update the sheet.Dit donc ! Does anyone happen to have the rpm to mph ratio for each gear (assuming everything stock)?
Is this not too much stress on the OEM valve springs? Has this been done before on the evora?Really excited to see the 7500 rpm redline![]()
We revved our evora to 7400+ RPM and tested it brutally on a track for hours and hours literally on and off just hitting and holding at the rev limit through turns, corners, etc etc.Is this not too much stress on the OEM valve springs? Has this been done before on the evora?

You can just make a copy of it.
Not saying it’s a good idea but it sounds like you can do 60 without leaving 1st. Might significantly improve the 0-60 timehitting 80+ mph in 2nd is insane in this car... nearly 90mph if you really wanna rev it out.
What are your Evora running power wise with your tunes? That should get us a good reference for the Emira. We revved our evora to 7400+ RPM and tested it brutally on a track for hours and hours literally on and off just hitting and holding at the rev limit through turns, corners, etc etc.
That was on higher boost and much higher stress.
MR2 guys rev stock 2GRs higher than 7400 all day. Pretty sure I've seen "unopened" MR2 turbo 2GRs put down like 700HP at 8000 rpm.
I believe it's pretty well documented the 2GR doesn't start to get fishy until above 7800 on all the MR2 swaps.
We have Evora guys tuning with our software pushing 7600+ rpm.
I’m thinking of doing the opposite installing final drive from JUBU. I have the JUBU 460 with 7200 rpm’s which I really love, I can only imagine 7500 bc 7200 screams. Not saying it’s a good idea but it sounds like you can do 60 without leaving 1st. Might significantly improve the 0-60 time
More rpm = more mph. You can shift before redline.According to the vid looks like 81 mph at 7500rpm in 2nd. That is some tall gearing = Great for the track but less fun on the street if you like shifting as I do.
