Spotted: Emiras seen in the wild

Spotted in Chorley by my wife. Clearly OK for the supermarket run!

I saw a similar car near Preston a coulpe of weeks ago, maybe the same one. It was the first I've seen on the road (apart from the test drive in November). I'm picking mine up from Oakmere next week, so mine will be the second one I've seen on the road; I'll enjoy the rareity.

Does anyone know how many are on UK roads?

In the Dales yesterday. We had been for a pint at one of our favourite pubs and I walked out to this in the car park. I swiftly returned to the pub and tracked down the owner who was very kind to throw me the key and let us have a look around while he enjoyed a pint.

I bet his heart sunk when you shouted "who owns the blue Emira on the carpark"

Saw first Emira (Seneca ) in my local area of Durham this afternoon on Newcastle road. I got ever so excited I was the mad women that flashed & waved at you in a Thundernight 240i - car looked fabulous great road presence low n wide 👍 - are you local ish or passing thro ……

Lotus Emira spotted live on German Autobahn Saturday May 27, 2023 at around 7:30PM

Driving on the A1 Autobahn between Cologne and Dortmund, we spotted a Seneca Blue Lotus Emira and drove aloingside for some distance. The couple in the Emira noticed our interest and there were smiles and “thumbs up”. Speed limit was 130 km/h and the Emira driver followed all traffic regulations.

This is my first spotting on the road of an Emira. I am visiting Germany for a couple of weeks., and normally live in Japan where also the first Emiras are getting registered for driving on the road there for the first time.

I am a passenger in the car we are driving (a Renault Captur) and I authored and uploaded all of this while we are still (even now) driving.

If you go to https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/vehicles-statistics, you can get all sorts of information about cars being registered, and 'how many are left' (in you are interested in classic cars).

This website (https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/) is also useful - I think the source data comes from the URL I just mentioned.

Both sites say 3 emira's in the Uk (up to Q3 2022)!

Looked at this the other day. I don’t think it’s correct, perhaps delayed? I have seen more than 3 on the road, and we have more than 3 people on this forum from the UK with collections…

Done 1400mi in mine so far, mostly in Hertfordshire, but also the midlands and Wales, never seen another one on the road whilst in my Emira or in any other car! I don't think it'll ever be common sight.

Similar here - over 1300 miles in mine, I've seen my mate Mark's and I spied one on the M8 but that's it. Been at Knockhill Circuit a couple of times and for the vast majority of people there it was their first viewing in the flesh.

Seneca blue 23 plate car parked by the bridge on Longwater Lane, Costessey, Norwich this evening - anyone on here or maybe a factory/employee car?

How can you tell?

The top of the V6 engine cover is visible under the rear hatch - the i4 sits lower and has a dark engine cover.

Plus no ADAS sensor pod in the front grille.
