Removing factory seat and installing Tillet B10-tips and tricks

@Steve Tillett Do you have any people in Florida (west coast preferably) that have your seat in the Emira.. I would love to sit in it to see if at all possible.

I am back and forth on getting one for the drivers side. I probably wouldn't do both as I can't lose the foldable seat to store things in the back

Jon at Flat 6 Motorsports had one in his car but I think I saw the car for sale, you might ping him and ask.
There is one other guy I will email and ask if he is available to meet up and could put him in contact with you.
He is in Wildwood though, not sure how far that is from you.

Hey Steve any progress on the passenger airbag sensor plug in? Thanks!

Is this a US spec car? I believe they still have issues but the European cars seem sorted and I certainly do not have any lights up in my car.

Thanks for the quick response…yes it’s a US spiced car and I live in Pennsylvania. Unfortunately in my area we need yearly inspections which I don’t think an airbag light would pass.

Jubu has this on their website now but I don't think they are ready to ship yet

@Steve Tillett very much in doubt if I should order B10 or B10XL.

From data sheet on your website I can see that only the width is different - height is exactly the same for the two seats.

I am 186cm (6’1”) 80kg (176lb) with jeans waist 32 and legs 34. So long legs / not so long torso and slim build.

I should fit in the standard B10 but also think about versatility for other drivers an also about when reselling the car.

Car is mainly for track days and will have 4-point harness.

Do you sell any B10 seats for Emira or only B10XL?

Your advise is greatly appreciated!

Anyone know if Jubu or anyone else is close on solving this puzzle for us on this side of the pond (i.e., US market)?

Thank you for you interest.
You will fit the standard B10 well. I also fit the standard seat but decided on the XL in my Emira, as it is mostly a road car. It helps when wearing jackets and if anyone over a 36 inch waist must drive the car. Smaller drivers in the XL still works due to the shape, which centralises the driver due to the curved nature of the shape.
My son is exactly the same size as yourself and also uses the B10 XL in his M4. You would be advised to have the panel set.

@Steve Tillett thank you! Then XL seems like the best choice.
You offer the “airbag warning delete” - do I need one or two of those kits for two seats?

I am 6'3" and 210lbs with 34 waist, 34 length pants. B10XL fits like it was made for me. Also, as Steve mentioned, added clothing like a thick sweater or jacket changes fitment. Love the fitment of mine and would not want the smaller size at all.

Greg at GRP told me he is close to having a US solution.

One set is for two seats.

We have it solved in our shop car. Just did a 200 mile trip last weekend and it worked flawlessly so we are working on putting together kits now.
Trying to get our hands on a particular part is proving to be tough but we should know more on Monday hopefully.
Our kit keeps the dash airbag working like oem -- off with nobody or little weight in the seat and turns on when an adult sits in the car.

insert the take my money meme...seriously! this is awesome news, I can have passengers ride in the car now 🙌

Got word about parts today actually.
There will be one item that needs to be pulled from the original passenger seat but its an easy 10 minute job to do so.
We will be installing a kit into a local car this weekend and will document the installation. Should have these kits available next week!
