Removing factory seat and installing Tillet B10-tips and tricks

If any of you with the seats installed could take some pictures of how they look from the outside, etc.

I also wonder how much MORE comfortable the seats are WITH the cushions.. The cushions seem a bit thin, IMO.. but just curious..

I may buy myself a little early Christmas present at some point.

I think the seat is incredibly comfortable and I've done multi thousand mile trips in them.

I had the seat for 4 weeks before the pads came in. For me. They might have been more comfortable before the pads, but you would slide around a little bit

I really like these. Tan to match my stock tan interior! Is there any place in Texas, USA where I can try sitting in some Tillett seats? I can probably live with the warning lights...

Gregs Race Parts are specialists with Lotus but are a long way from you.
There is a well established dealer in Texas and they do stock the B10 XL.

There are a couple other owners in Texas with these seats I can check with for you.
Shoot us an email and let us know what city you are in and we can ask around for you.

Where in TX are you? We have a person with a B10 seat in Austin and I have a B10 in Houston.

That would be awesome. I'm in Houston. Thank you! (Also just ordered the short shifter, JB4 and Milltek valve controller from you guys. 😁)

We have a whatsapp chat with all the HTX folks if you'd like to be connected.

You're welcome to have a seat in mine to see how it fits you, at our next gathering, if you wish.

@Steve Tillett Do you have any people in Florida (west coast preferably) that have your seat in the Emira.. I would love to sit in it to see if at all possible.

I am back and forth on getting one for the drivers side. I probably wouldn't do both as I can't lose the foldable seat to store things in the back

I've seen photos of the Tillet seat slid all the way forward. It doesn't fold, but it slides far enough forward to leave plenty of room to access the storage shelf.

I have both seats in my car, I wouldn't say "plenty of room". I usually have to go to the passenger side, push the seat all the way back, go to the driver side push the seat all the way forward. To maximize the gap between the two seats in order to put something like a duffel bag in.

The best person to ask is Greg at GRP.
We don't have a dealer in Florida but he may have had an Emira customer in that area.
