Hey VT any update on testing the man tune on a car ?

What’s the turn around time on ECU now that you can locally unlock ?

Our test car is getting some warranty work done. Should have more info soon.

I can independently confirm that a buddy of mine has been working w @VF Tuner for over a month on this. It’s very likely the world’s first owner definable emira g6 ecu tune. For what it’s worth, he told me that despite VF’s at-times difficult nature online, he has been great to work with as a client. Of course that might change if he hates his tune

Yesterday, the tuned ecu arrived at his house. I have seen photo proof.

He needs to dyno, but his car is at dealer for warranty repairs. Hopefully will be back to him in next week or two.

He also has a custom mapped jb4, eventuri intake, catless GRP headers and a 2.8” pulley.

He plans to dyno jb4 vs vf tune head to head, once both teams have had the chance to further dial in based on dyno results.

Should be interesting popcorn

Mat was probably guilty of underestimating how long this would take, and he had some unexpected serious family matters to attend to.

What does you friend has on the car on mods? Any bolt ons headers etc is he changing the pully?

Catless headers, intake, 2.8” pulley. I think he’s going to 2.6” pulley this week though.

Sounds like dyno might happen by next weekend. Not sure. His wife and job are both a handful..

Interesting that the redline went red at 6800rpm, and it went to about 7200, but that the "Shift" animation didn't start going nuts.

Car was parked in neutral, with clutch depressed, I believe

Second this. Test car's owner has shared some video clips of him and VF's progress cracking and tuning the ECU. Won't go into too much detail as I don't want to steal VF's thunder but really exciting stuff finally coming to us v6 owners!
