Can you post/show a before/after JB4 map done by a 3rd party that clearly gives the before/after?

I think people are trying to do it because there hasn't been much customer verified data.

I say this as a very happy jb4 owner.

Pretty much same setup here and I'm curious:

1. GRP 3rd cat delete
2. Milltek Valve Controller
3. Eventuri Intake
4. JB4 Map2 (We have 93 octane everywhere in NC)

Based on dyno evidence from the various mods (mostly the JB4 addition), I'm guessing somewhere around 510-520bhp and around 470 to the wheels. It definitely feels like it's at least 20% more power than stock but a dyno chart with a similar setup would be great to see.

Great to hear that we have around 470 to the wheels. I forgot to say I have GRP cat delete as well as aerie v2 exhaust.

Hi all. As a JB4 user(V6). I find it interesting how many in the US have their cars dynoed after this mod. Here down under, we dyno our cars only to tune in various parameters to mate any major mods to smooth things out any put safety's in pace. Not many of us use it to measure HP or torque. There are risks when you thrash your car on a dyno, and here down under you have to sign off if they break it on the dyno, you own it. So apart from some level of curiosity, what is the benefit of doing a dyno, especially after a few people have already done one and show that the Burger figures were relatively accurate?

I do it more as a service to the forum. I started doing this with the Eventuri when it first came out, because people were skeptical of the claims, so I got a dyno run to show on paper what I was experiencing. I knew it was adding power and torque, but it helped to have a number to show. This next dyno will be at the same shop, same guy doing it as a continuation of what I started with the Eventuri, just for the sake of being consistent with what I do in my project thread.

I’ll be very interested in the outcome as I’m pretty sure my mods align with Eagle7 with the minor variation of my GRP intake vs. his Eventuri.

I for one really appreciate it. With work/life responsibilities and a 1 and a 3 year old, it would be really difficult for me to find the time to go do this so thank you for your service

To be honest I'm really not sure. I'm mostly basing this on the following (although I do know that mods are not purely additive and hence this is more of an educated guess):

1. GRP 3rd cat delete (+5-10 bhp?)
2. Milltek Valve Controller (in full open we've seen a few HP gain in some dyno testing)
3. Eventuri Intake (+15-20 bhp)
4. JB4 Map2 (We have 93 octane everywhere in NC) (+96 bhp)

So going for a conservative estimate, let's say we get 5 bhp for the 3rd cat, 5bhp for the Milltek in full open, 15bhp for the Eventuri, and round down to 90bhp for the JB4, we're still at +115bhp which would be 515bhp and right at 453.2hp to the wheels with an assumed drivetrain loss of 12%.

Also, for what it's worth, the JB4 V6 dyno runs with a drop in air filter and 3rd cat delete (I think?) showed 462hp to the wheels so I am probably lowballing the numbers.

That's what I had remembered reading but thank you very much for the confirmation. So it's very reasonable to say then that with the added Milltek + Eventuri (vs. drop in) we should be somewhere slightly above the 462whp number which would put us around the 525-530bhp mark. It definitely feels that way to the butt dyno with these mods vs. stock. Cool
