What did you do to your Emira today?

Same here... was lurking around and waiting for them to come in. Appreciate this forum a ton already!

My car is no longer blue, so I decided to make an attempt creating a toon shade paint over on my mini replica. I took my blue diecast scale model and spray painted it white, then drew on top of it with markers. I thought it came out pretty cool for my first attempt, so I’m sharing.

Broke in a new pair of gloves. Just to keep the sweat off during canyon runs or track time. Fit, feel and function well. Glad to have my fingertips to use the screen, phone etc. I was surprised how well the color matched the leather.

30 min of canyon carving reminded me how much fun this car is!

Personally, I love the whole retro vibe certain types of driving gloves give- like yours. However... In the UK we would simply have the piss ripped right out of us for being caught driving and wearing gloves... "Different folks, different strokes" as the TV theme tune once said!! I need to move to the US!!

This is very, very cool. Doesn’t matter what color your Emira is, this works for all of us!

Oh it should certainly be a secret! Would never wear these on a typical commute.

However I am allergic to greasy steering wheels so I have to man up and glove up. Full racing gloves would be even worse on the street! And so here is the compromise.

Sharing in the emira forum safe space only 😁

Essex Lotus Drivers Club (LDC) Breakfast meet at Barleylands. I was still in my Elise but a few forum members were there along with some new Emira owners. Two 304Rs turned up too. This photo was taken early on - many other Lotus tuned up later.

I've been looking at those as well. What made you revert back to stock and use these new linkages instead?

What on earth is that thing plugged into the USB port? I'm guessing some sort of light
It's the safety cover for the ejector seat button... I mean, you wouldn't want to press it by accident now, would you? 🤣🤣
