Hilton and Moss Lotus Drivers Club Meet 2026 in Bishop's Stortford. I was in the Elise today as I still don't make my Emira back but several other forum members were there. H&M gave a tour of the workshops, storage and restoration areas - there's some fairly impressive restoration work being done here and some lovely cars.

Here's a walkaround of all the Lotus owner's cars outside (you get better quality playback if you click the arrow in the top right rather than watching in this site).

It was a good event, better than I expected, and some some really nice cars, nice video.

Ran over this stupid thing and got a flat in my right rear tyre. The good news is that the TPMS warned me and gave me plenty of time to pull over and fix it.

I used the included Fix and Go kit and it was a cinch. Took all of 5 minutes and I was back on my way home.

Flushed brake fluids and replaced the brake pads with Endless MX-72 last week. Completed simple bedding process. Haven't had the chance to drive much yet. Also, the mechanic was surprised to find out that Emira came with steel brake lines from the factory. Even GT3s and Ferraris came with only rubber lines.

Didn't realize these pads were available for our cars. I've used them on other cars and loved them. How do they feel compared to the stock pads?

Haven't had the chance to drive much yet. But impression was that the initial bite feels similar to the stock pads. I was hoping for a little less grabby though. Brake pedal feels firmer and the braking force is more linear. Brake also feels stronger with the same pedal pressure. No squeaks so far while the stock pads did squeak a little.

After driving for 1300km after pick up, my brakes are a lot less grabby then they were at the beginning.

Congrats and it's really cool that you're enjoying your stock version again. You're probably right that some folks forget how good they were pre-mod. In my case, I must be suffering from stock-alzheimers, as somehow I still can't remember

Had the GRP 12mm spacers installed front and back and I feel they are just about perfect in terms of filling out the arches without going too far. Happy with them.

Replaced both tires, did not replace the kit. I have another can of sealant, though.

Gave it a well deserved clean only to find paint bubble it’s one I hope it stays that way.

I used a black

sharpie to color in the silver bits on the wheels so it matches my actual car....
did a bit more finish work after this photo so it looks perfect now.
Next, dissemble and paint seats and trim to match white interior.

Didn’t want to pinstripe various places so I opted for some 3/8” Cowles silver molding. I think it does a good job trying in with the silver rims. Also added a strip to the lower front bumper and rear between the tail lights,

The strips on the edges of the lower edges of the side splitters offering some protection from
stone chips,etc.

Threw on my new Aerie V2 wheels. While I had them off, I cleaned the heck out of the calipers and ceramic coated them while also ceramic coating the wheels. Let’s pray they stay even a little bit clean between washes.

Today I was at the Historic Lotus Register Picnic at Flea Hall in Hertfordshire, over 100 Lotus of all ages and it was a great show, everyone was very friendly and of course more than happy to talk at long length about their cars

A lovely location as well with a great view over the nearby lakes. The catering was pretty nice too - tasty burgers and sausage baps - and great homemade cakes.

I was in my Elise today but there were several Emiras including some forum members (at 7:30 in the video).

See which Lotus you can spot, there's probably some models you've not seen before.
