What did you do to your Emira today?

Thanks. Just when I thought I was totally content with my car...

Did someone paint your original trim, or did you order replacements and have them painted?
They still look pretty much black to me on my computer. Maybe I am missing something. Might take some pics of mine and see what accent colors look like.. hmm.. Thanks for the idea.

D and V Autobody Masters ordered a full second set of parts (4 pieces) painted them and installed, so I could also return the car to stock.

Link? Does it have to be some sort of heat resistant vinyl sticker?
Just regular thin vinyl strip from Amazon. Apparently that part doesn’t get THAT hot since it’s more of a shroud around the tip. It takes about two cuts to create the circle in that particular angle. I used a heat gun to keep it from wrinkling.

Looking at a video of a rebuild the other day, these just pulled off by hand so they are easy to remove to paint.

This looks awesome!

How did you go about doing this? How much did it cost?
Thank you. Just called into my fave body shop, asked them to order the parts, they did. Took the car out once to have them match the paint. Once done, took the car back out, they mounted the painted panels and gave me the piano black trim pieces they took off. For them, it was easy and an exact-match, paint-wise.

Late to the game here, but I finally got around to purchasing and installing the Eventuri intake, Milltek third cat delete, and JB4 tuner. My tired old eyes and body could only manage to complete one of these each day on my 3-day weekend. Waiting on delivery of the Milltek valve controller next.
