What did you do to your Emira today?

I live next to an internationally popular Art & Design School. Students knock on our door all the time, wanting to do a photo shoot for their portfolios. These recently came back. Some with a more modern DSLR and some with a more classic camera. Weather and lighting weren't cooperating with us though.

I also got around to installing my custom cushions for the Tillets! They turned out great!

Not the air intake. That’s in the engine bay in the back or the car and this picture is in the front of the car.

Hello mate, great photo. I love the way you've mounted your reg plate. I hate the way it comes from the dealership as it disrupts the lines of the car. Your way looks.much better. Just curious though - have you had any problems with the police trying to say it's not legal etc etc?

I saw yours at Goodwood on Sunday! Mine was in the car park. Good to see a number of Emira's on show in addition to other Lotus models.

Exciting stuff I know but I fitted a 3/4 plate on the front which looks much nicer. It's mostly legal from what I can tell and I ran one on my Elise for 7 yrs without issue. Generally, as long as you don't mis-space the letters or make them hard to read you're fine.

The "BS AU 145e" marking is the first thing the police will look for if they are going to make a fuss about it. The police have turned up at a few car shows recently as they know they'll catch a few here. So just be careful - you can stick your old plate in the boot, "Thanks for pointing that out officer, I forgot to swap it back after the car show".
