Yep. In my Elise it was looked at twice by the BiB. One said fine and other (total arsehole who I was arguing with) said it needed a BS number on it. This plate actually does have one, in a faint grey in the bottom right so all good."Mostly" legal

The "BS AU 145e" marking is the first thing the police will look for if they are going to make a fuss about it. The police have turned up at a few car shows recently as they know they'll catch a few here. So just be careful - you can stick your old plate in the boot, "Thanks for pointing that out officer, I forgot to swap it back after the car show".
