What did you do to your Emira today?

"Mostly" legal :)

Here's the regs https://assets.publishing.service.g...le-registration-numbers-and-number-plates.pdf

The "BS AU 145e" marking is the first thing the police will look for if they are going to make a fuss about it. The police have turned up at a few car shows recently as they know they'll catch a few here. So just be careful - you can stick your old plate in the boot, "Thanks for pointing that out officer, I forgot to swap it back after the car show".
Yep. In my Elise it was looked at twice by the BiB. One said fine and other (total arsehole who I was arguing with) said it needed a BS number on it. This plate actually does have one, in a faint grey in the bottom right so all good. ;)

Installed the Hethelsport GTS sideskirts from @GRP and went for a drive. Fit and finish is excellent. Easy to install with just a pump jack and improves the look and profile. Thanks Greg.

My vinyl guy did that using a template that I made. I used painters tape to cover a large area then I drew the shape free hand. Peeled off the tape and cut out the shark fin. As far as I know he just traced my template over vinyl. It really works to save the paint. That area was constantly getting peppered with stones.
Greg @GRP may have shark fins in stock for the Evora as this came on many Evora models. I'm just not sure how it will line up on the Emira, but I suppose you could always cut it.

After getting her home last weekend from the initial road trip, I did the first oil change today. Let’s just say doing those under panels with just a jack and stands was…fun. 😂

Also switched the yellow Lotus emblem to the black/silver. Looks a lot cleaner.

Next up studs and spacers then next week 3rd cat delete.

Living just 4min away from my dealership and passing it weekly, I just saw my car delivered to the dealership:p

Now to wait for final handover. Car gets lowered by dealership first.

@FW190, where was this “meet”, and how is it organized?

There was a large gatherig of Lotus cars at Summit Point this weekend. They did some parade laps, it was really super to see so many different Lotus models in person. I think it was organized by Vintage Drivers and Racing Club, but I am not sure.

Finally got installed body-colored (Shadow Grey) painted vent panel trim around rear glass. Presented at East Coast Lotus Meet
Thanks. Just when I thought I was totally content with my car...

Did someone paint your original trim, or did you order replacements and have them painted?
