What color did you go with? what color(s) did you almost go with?

Configuring my Emira spec, I must have changed my color preference between Nimbus and Magma at least 10 times but ended up ordering Magma because Nimbus was too close to my 911's GT Silver.

What colour did I want? Yellow.

Also, after a couple of test drives I also knew I wanted the Alcantara seats and sports suspension.

I made a list of the 6 Emiras in this spec (or close) for sale in the UK and I think I saw them all. But then a new one came up on Autotrader and I contacted the dealership before they even had the photos up. This was the I got in the end – Yellow.

I agree the Emira looks great in all colours but I think the bright colours really work, yellow, purple and EOS and Isotope Green – but only Yellow was available when I got mine. The other colours work well in their own different ways, Verdant on Tan is just a classic, Osmium Silver is timeless and really shows off the car, Shadow Grey is a beautiful paint. Pretty cool that each owner has their own preferences on this.

Would I change anything? I couple of weeks ago just after dusk I drove down the road just to drop something off a at family friends. I parked under a street light – walking back to the car, I realised again just how beautiful the car is – there is really no car available today that looks better.

Would I change any of the styling on the car – yes and I have; I don’t like the diamond cut wheels so have some Aerie ones. But that’s pretty much it.

Would I change the colour? Only if Lotus ever were to come out with a brighter yellow.

From the available colours at the time, I wanted Meridian Blue, with the Ice interior. Got the Blue, but ended up with Black leather interior as Ice was a rarity and having seen one that was only 3 months old and filthy, was glad I got the black in the end.
Interesting bit from the service dept: don't wear denim jeans with the ice leather as the dye will transfer...especially with heat.

I like blues a lot. My Evora was Skyfall Blue, so Atlantis and Meridian had my eye, but only ever saw Atlantis on the I4, and the one Meridian V6 had red interior (which surprisingly wasn't a deal breaker - looks much better in person). There was always something about the Seneca Blue with brown leather. In the end, inventory based, it was down to Dark Verdant and Shadow Grey. Neither of those colors are done justice on print...have to see in the light of day. And then it gets really tough to choose. Wanted to the touring suspension, so ended up with Dark Verdant, though I think the Shadow Grey is prolly a little rarer. No regrets...till I saw the Scura limited edition. lol

When I ordered my 25 purple was not an option so I got Nimbus over red which I still think is one of the best specs on an Emira. I'm super happy to finally have a purple though. Fun colors go hand in hand with Lotus.

I was 99% on ordering Verdant with tan interior, silver wheels and yellow calipers for over a year before my order slot came available. Just before I got to order I saw Nimbus in person as well as Verdant and changed to Nimbus with red interior, black wheels and red calipers. No regrets but if I bought two the second one would be Verdant.

This. They've made it so the colors demand having 2! lol

I went for blue but for some reason ending up nimbus:LOL:

Aimed for Seneca but drove a yellow Emira for a test drive. After that the Seneca just seemed a bit dull.
