What color did you go with? what color(s) did you almost go with?

There are no bad colors but there is 1 bad color combo that I can think of.. the mcdonald spec.

Went with the Seneca Blue with Black Alcantara. At the time, there weren't many colors to choose from. I would've went with the Zinc Grey if it was offered.

To me, the design of the emira is meant for skittles colors. Lambo green, yellow, and orange are close tones that would be awesome on the emira and I think lotus was getting as close as they could without being sued. That said, some other colors really accentuate the design, I love that ghosted (zinc?) grey. I almost stepped up 16k for it, but it was still an auto so I saved my $$ because I love the Seneca blue. I'd have to see matte colors in person to have an opinion, Bright red, hethel yellow also look great to me. Some of the darker colors seem to hide the design elements and lines of the car unless they are in very bright sunlight. All in, to each their own, it's a beautiful design and there's nothing like it at twice the price.

I agree with this.
I almost went black so I could immediately wrap my Emira an ithac verde (green) week one and not worrry about door jams etc. But I ended up going Seneca blue which was really fun. I wrapped it Green after 1.5 years just to complete the mission (also there’s two too many Seneca blues in my City lol). The color you choose definitely changes the general public comments with this car. Especially since NEW Lotus social identity is a blank-slate compared to Lamborghini or Ferrrari.

I think this is the only colored seat option you can take on hethel yellow. Tan or iced grey are not a fit. But taste is different of course.

I bought that Zinc one at SF since you pointed me to them. I got them in the 90s

The solution for the Emira Color Conundrum (ECC) is to buy an Emira in a more subdued color that shows off the beautiful lines, and an Evora GT in an outrageous color that accentuates its slightly nutty, motorsport design elements!

don't forget the xmas spec(green and red) and the superman spec(blue and red)

Red interior only works with silvers, whites, blacks and grays imo

but beauty is in the eye of the beholder

For my first edition V6M when there were limited color choices and no cars to see in person, after I placed my deposit in 2022 and was on the long wait list, I was solidly Hethel Yellow. I was set on this color based only off of photos and the dealer color chips. Luckily, a few months before I got my allocation (late in 2023) I got to see most of the colors at a car week event in Monterey, gleeming in the California sun and changed my mind to Seneca Blue. I loved the subtle metallic flake and was surprised to see this because the metallic doesn't show up at all in most photos. I still LOVE the yellow though but happy with my choice.

Today, I LOVE Purple Haze, Isotope Green, and EOS green and would love to see these in person one day (still waiting!) and having them all in one place would be bonkers!. But I don't think I could live with them long term.

But.....British Racing Green, now there's another story....!!

My least favorite color for the Emira is actually my favorite car color, red, especially Magma Red. Looks gorgeous on many cars, including the Emira, but because my last two cars were similar reds, I needed a change. Plus I'm just not in that club that wants people to think it's a Ferrari. No thank you, it's a Lotus and I'm very good with that.

The loan car at my local dealer is yellow with tan, it's rank.

Totally agree. They both look brilliant, with a slight preference for the non black pack car.

Silver wasn’t available when I ordered (very early in the piece).

While I agree with everyone else that all the colours look good, I didn’t really consider anything other than Seneca, silver wheels, yellow calipers, black interior.

Three years later I’m still very happy with my choice and both the car and the colour get endless compliments wherever it goes.

However, the all silver one looks so good if I was ordering again today I’d be sorely tempted to tick that box!

Originally wanted Nimbus. Wife thought it was boring. She saw Magma and loved it, basically said if you get one you should def get that color. Still like Nimbus but I love the Magma.

I originally was going for black with red interior. Then on the day I went in to fill out the paperwork they were unloading a shipment and made me a great deal on this one. If they had Chrome Orange that would have been my first choice. But then, I saw a gorgeous silver unit with black trim and red interior. Too many choices. Go with what makes ya smile.

First Choice Osmium Silver with Red interior (that's my i4 order), Magma Red with Tan interior was my second choice (which happens to be the orphan V6M that was offered to me) so I got them both.
