What did you do to your Emira today?

Washed mine and, on the drive later, now have an "engine reduced acceleration" message and CEL. The car is gimped and has a rough idle. Going to let it sit, get a scan tool to see if I can clear code, and go from there..... got reader, P1302 Cylinder 4 misfire detected". Cleared. Comes back again within blocks of easy driving.

Yes, Miltek controller, 3rd cat del, 2.8 pulley, vftuner ecu tune. Thinking of having it towed to Gator next week so they can sort it out.

Took my engine covers off for the first time to really see where that engine oil filler cap is.
I think I'll have to get a funnel with a long spout.
Also had a good look around the engine bay.

Also took mine on the ferry for the first time. Altogether a lovely day.

This and the Elan were such clean, beautiful designs. Wire wheels look great, but they're such a pain to clean and keep tuned. Still... I wouldn't mind having one of these.

I drove it! For the first time in two months (broke foot) and I happy to report it started up perfectly without a hitch and there were no issues*.

Ok, if I'm being picky, the errand parking sensor is back screaming about ghosts, but it's easily disabled and it seems like it gets better over time.

Stunning in person. Made an e type look almost crass By comparison. Alas I would need to have 5-7 vertebrae removed to get into it.

Towing to the shop to have the misfire resolved. Couldn't help myself and am having the Eventuri cold air intake and the Powerflex trans mount bushings installed while it's there Edit to add: letting car dry out seems to have "fixed' the misfire code and any running issues. I'll have to tone down my foam cannon attack next time

Emira + portapacchi è più unico che raro, complimenti per il coraggio...la scorsa estate mia moglie me l'ha fatta riempire come un panino, prima ed ultima volta Buon viaggio!

Emira + roof rack looks brave, congrats! Last summer my wife had me load it like a wagon, I'm not going to let her win again though Have a nice trip!

Installed the black "modern" Witamats. Fit is 99%, very happy with the shapes. They included 6 or so extra pieces of velcro that I could add where-helpful to make it taught along the door sills. Pics show them a bit dirty, but the leather is nice and cleans easily. The only downside for me is that the driver's side mat reduced the already-small dead pedal width just a bit more. Might trim the mat back a few inches there to get the full pedal back - no one will see that.

After 10-15 mins of jam, as soon as I could normally drive, the engine led popped up and the car (engine?) started vibrating. The lower the revs, the higher the vibrations. No throttle, no vibrations. No message on the dashboard. Car feels weak and just vibrates a lot. Any guess?

Car/engine vibrating and changing with revs could mean a misfire on one or more cylinder. Check what the engine light is for with an OBD2 scanner - a misfire will show up straight away. I would not drive your car if the engine is causing the car to vibrate unless you have to - and then keeping revs as low as possible.

You should probably start a new thread for this so others on the forum see it and give other assistance.

Might be a different thing but I had similar symptoms on my Evora 400 and it was the supercharger coupler.
