What did you do to your Emira today?

Installed my Tillett seat this past weekend.

Well, as you may have seen in one of my videos, I finally got round to sorting out the wheel kerbing on all 4 wheels and just managed to get them all sorted with 1 month left of my 3 year wheel insurance policy!! 🫣

As they were to be painted the original black I decided to change the colour for the car's Third birthday and went with satin Bronze to match the satin PPF.

I am delighted with the overall affect.

Colour does look ace, the diamond cut wheels only have 3 lives in them in terms of re cutting 🤦

Took the wheels off to give them a thorough clean on both inside and out - mine are silver, so show up the dirt more than the darker colours. Was easy enough as I had previously used a ceramic coating - Gteknic wheel armour. Also gave the suspension components an anti corrosion spray, using a Bilt Hamber product. Checked the lower wishbone ball joint rubber gaiters and they seemed fine, so fingers crossed on those.

Took mine out for a blat. As its the long(4 day) Easter weekend in the UK thought the roads would be busy, but the weather was excellent, so gave it a shot
Roads were virtually empty and for those that use SELOC and/or Pistonheads, I did the old BoLOCs Burger Run route. Was a great couple of hours.

May try it again next week, once everyone has gone back home :)

Washed mine and, on the drive later, now have an "engine reduced acceleration" message and CEL. The car is gimped and has a rough idle. Going to let it sit, get a scan tool to see if I can clear code, and go from there..... got reader, P1302 Cylinder 4 misfire detected". Cleared. Comes back again within blocks of easy driving.
