USA/Canada Delivery Thread

Mine’s 2 1/2 years old so right in the period when the lockouts have been shown to be all over the place. Also knowing Lotus and looking at the supercharger stop setting as an example, of Lotus QC (they’re also set all over the place), I doubt that Lotus are now just setting the lock outs all in the right place.
Yeah i get it.

I will say though my 2026 doesn't have some of the minor "quirks" that my 24 had. My 2024 had the subwoofer "pop" sound every once in a while when opening the door, pop sound when turning the wheel to full lock, one of the rear engine side vent plates wasn't fully flush (ive seen this on several 2024 models), when cold it was sometimes tough to get into 1st or reverse, all of this considered "normal." My 26 doesn't have any of these quirks.

My 2026 still has the same apple carplay connectivity issues as my 24. Other than that, subtle improvements here and there. Only downside is adas for sure. I click off the speed warning at the start of each drive. the other assists i dont really notice as much, but can be shut off as needed. I don't drive in track mode so its nbd that you can't do while moving. If you are going to switch to track mode, it'll shut off all the adas features anyway....so you could just choose to do that at every startup. I of course do hope for a way to permanently disable it all except for blindspot monitoring .

Mine was fitted with the new gearbox mounts and it made a big difference. No changes were made to the reverse lock out.
Were you able to just request this from your dealer? If so how much did it cost if you don't mind sharing.

No. My car was in for a huge list of warranty issues, one of those was a gearbox issue that the dealer couldn’t fix. They then got a Lotus technician to come over from Hethel to test drive the car and diagnose/fix the problem. The gearbox had already been replaced and hadn’t really solved the issues, so the tech guy installed ‘revised gearbox mounts’. The issues were significantly improved (although not 100% fixed). The gear selection action though was much better. The tech guy said they were now being installed as standard on new cars.

Ah I see. Well hopefully your car is mostly sorted now. Sorry to hear you had so much trouble.

I just shared some photos in another thread of my Deep Green Metallic Emira. Wanted to link to it here in case anyone is interested in photos of that colour. I got mine from Gentry Lane (who took the outdoor photos) and they were excellent to deal with. First deposit at the 2024 Toronto auto show, build submitted at the 2025 auto show, delivery in November 2025. Just waiting for the snow to clear now...

Once you are in trackmode and disabled all nannies and then you switch to sport or tour, can you go back to track without switching everything off again?

My car is still in the break in period so I haven’t tried the other modes yet. But from what I understand and the owners manual, When you are in track mode, all the Nannies are disabled automatically, you don’t have to individually turn them off. Once you switch back to tour or sport, the Nannie’s will still be on and you will have to turn them off individually

for the 26' I think you can't go from tour/sport to Track unless you stop the car on the side of the road, then deactivate the nannies manually (like 4 button press) and then activate track. People can correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what i remember Shmee doing in is 26' i4 video...

I don't know about going back to sport/tour from track...

Videos show that you have to stop for trackmode and tab about 5 times (confirming disabling all the nannies) before trackmode is engaged… stupidly implemented by Lotus

That’s very bizarre. Do you mind sharing the video?

I signed for this a couple of weeks ago, still at the dealership getting full car PPF, and a few other things. No rush since it’s the dead of winter still. I’ve got a number of things on order for it. It’s a my 2025, V6, manual, black leather interior.

Congrats and welcome to the forum!

Got a call from my dealership a couple of days ago regarding my 2026 i4 Emira. They said they’ve got a VIN number. They said they don’t know the final production date yet but delivery could be sometime in May/June. I’m excited!

When did you order and place your deposit? I’m waiting on my 2026 that I ordered end of January, have heard nothing.

It takes 10 to 14 days to build a car, and it took almost 3 months for my car to get here so I would say that june is realistic.
