No, my configuration is based on 2026 options as 2027 options are not officially out. According to the dealer, Lotus HQ said there will be no changes for 2027 except for headrest size update for US market due to some regulatory reasons.

Thanks for info. I was curious if the recently leaked 420hp spec as well as the discussed on investor call hybrid Emira were a thing for 2027 or a further out year.

If its been produced or in production, your dealer can look up the VIN. Once you have the VIN, google it along with Import Genuis and you can sometimes see where it is. If it's waiting at Southhampton, it may not show up until it's loaded onto the boat. It's not easy but I was able to track my VIN for it's journey across the pond. Once it lands, it goes dark during the US prep and transport but you can kind of guess. Getting the VIN is the key. Exciting time for sure.

Looks like Lotus has ramped up cars shipping to the US. Looking at https://www.importgenius.com/importers/lotus-cars-usa-inc it appears that there is currently 216 cars on the way to the US since 4/5. What I pulled up doesn't have VINs, and tracking containers on sea is not my specialty. But it looks like shipments before were 6-25 vehicles at a time. So hopefully heating up.

I've made updates to the tracking sheet for recent months of cars arriving in the US. There are still less than 4000 total cars shipped to the US since launch. I4 cars now making up a significant amount of the cars. Image below links to the tracking sheet with VIN numbers.

Hey guys, quick question, I just saw my VIN in the tracking sheet (date 4/6). Mine is an i4 2026 heading to California. What should I expect now that I see my VIN? When should I expect the car to arrive at the dealership approximately?

Could be anything from a week to 2 months. It depends on how quickly they get your car out of PDI. Usually they sort the cars so that all the ones going to the same dealer are put aside. It is really just luck of the draw. The quickest I've seen a car show up at a dealer is 2-3 days but that was on the east coast.

Just got my 2026 i4 VIN ordered in early Feb 2026 and got notice it was "on a boat" from the dealer. Vin is: SCCLEMYX0THB41228

I didn't see it on the list yet that I could tell but maybe because it just was shipped?

Also in California... and adding I CAN"T WAIT!!!

Congrats! I've had my i4 for a little over a year and still get excited every time I get behind the wheel. I never thought I'd still love it this much, and drive it at least 2-3 times per week. Sometimes I lie to my wife and tell her there was tons of traffic and that is why I got home late (I often take the LOOOOOONG way home). It reminds me of 30 years ago when I had a motorcycle. Enjoy the heck out of it!!
