Lotus (Hethel) still can't find my order, and my dealer (Luxury Cars Los Gatos) still isn't saying anything besides that's how they've always ordered cars.

For the automatic v6 — EPA hasn’t approved yet either or you’d see it on the EPA site. My guess is that they’re in the process of testing and submitting for review for the v6 automatic right now — but it’s going to take time for review and approval. My other guess is that they don’t have the facilities on hand to do all emissions testing at Hethel and ship the cars elsewhere to do testing. In the past I believe Lotus has used Roush to do their testing for them. It could be that there’s no open schedule at Roush to do it on time

Fuck, I’m glad I didn’t reserve at Los Gatos I’ve heard nothing but nightmares from that place.

Hethel got back to me. June or July build. That's pretty bad given Los Gatos' communication. So August delivery or something like that.

How did you find that out ? / who did you contact at Hethel?

Their product specialist.. I was put in contact with him when I reached out about trying to set up the tour and into to sports cars timed with my car build.

It's a manual. C'mon, September? I'm disappointed enough already. Seriously would never use Los Gatos for anything again.

They have always said allocations are handed out 6 months prior to production. Perhaps the product specialist was under promising and over delivering and you will get it sooner... However Lotus is not known for that attribute .

Je pense que Lotus devrait faire une remise sur le prix de la voiture car cela entraînera plus de trois mois de retard de livraison !!! en plus bientôt en juillet le 2025 sera vendu tout ça à cause d'une mauvaise gestion du lotus et nous les clients en subissons les conséquences j'attends un geste commercial pas un cadeau un livre, une casquette, et un porte clé quand j'y pense

3 month delay? HA, we're approaching 2 years of delays at this point, don't forget first Emira deliveries were originally slated for Spring 2022... An extra 3 months is a joke to those of us who've had deposits since 2021.

My situation is nowhere near that bad. It's about managed expectations.

I've passed by Los Gatos many times with my daughter to admire the Lambos, Astons, etc. I hadn't heard anything one way or the other about Los Gatos, but something told me to go with Boardwalk Lotus, although Los Gatos was closer. Probably figured since Lotus was in the name, they cared more about the brand. I've been very happy with Kyle and Tom.
