Hawk Pads are Best Upgrade Ever

EBC Bluestuff brake Pads.
EBC seem to be getting the thumbs up. It would seem. While they do have “Yellow and Red” units, it is apparent that these two choices are acceptable for normal street driving, they are not recommended for even occasional track days.
EBC offer Bluestuff as a pad that will handle both urban “spirited” driving and occasional track days (I’m about to find out).
For members on this side of the world, Australia and New Zealand, Bluestuff pads are not listed readily for our Emira’s. However the front pads are the same as for Aston Martin Vanquish 5.9 listed as DP5042NDX.
The rears are the same as McLaren MP4 12C and Holden VN Commodore listed as DP5036NDX.
Suppliers of EBC here in Aus (and probably NZ) don’t list both front and rear for Lotus Emira.
Rolan Australia can supply both (front $289 AUS and rear $271). You just have to accept them as for an Aston Martin and a McLaren ……. I’ll bury any pride and be happy with that
Good summary, but dust seems to be a major priority for many. Only EBC Reds and Hawk Performance Ceramics are classified as low dust.

There is no low dust alternative for steel brakes good for occasional track days
