For my weekend project, I swapped out OEM rotors and pads. Pretty straightforward removal and installation.
TLDR: new setup is awesome, improved stopping power, have to relearn brake pedal modulation

1. Be sure to disengage electronic parking brake from cabin while engine in ACC or ON. If you forget to do it and you have rear wheels off, you can do it then as well.

2. Rotor weight comparison (in lbs):

Yes, rears heavier than OEM (+~2.5 lbs each) and sleight weight savings in fronts (-~0.2 lbs)

Brake pads easy removal. De-pin caliper retention and remove OEM pads by sliding out.

Removal of parking brake assembly just 2 bolts. 13mm socket. No need to remove parking brake pads or disconnect harness plug.

Caliper assembly removal easy. Just 2 bolts, E14 socket.
Tip: removal of these caliper bolts probably made the whole process take the longest, had to use breaker bar for most of the thread. I think there was some Permabond or Loctite on the bolt. Just BE CAREFUL removing these bolts since they were so tight to remove. Easy to NOT seat socket well and potentially strip bolt head. Go slow and methodically….

Remove little Allen head bolt on OEM rotor.

Remove rotor, replace with Girodisc rotor, reinstall Allen head bolt on rotor.

Reinstall parking brake

Reinstall caliper assembly, insert brake pads, reinstall caliper retention pins.
Here is torque specs for parking brake assembly and caliper assembly bolts.

Be careful if using spacers, it will scratch rotor hat.

What's the spec of the replacement bolt you used for your calipers? I also had a hell of a time removing the E14 bolts, until I started using a blowtorch to warm up the upright on the remainder, and they came out easily.

The OEM bolt is part number 8891014034 and it's quite hard to find. I re-used mine. I don't think it's a torque-to-yield bolt, I suspect they come with dry thread locker on them and that's why they're specced for replacement in the manual.
