Emira I4 ECU Flash Tuning is Now Possible (~510HP Turbo)

BFlash allows tuning of the ECU and the TCU. Currently via Bench only. It would require sending them your ECU.

Yeah, im a little hesitant shipping my ECU across the Atlantic getting lost and/or risking tariffs on the return.

Working on another solution here stateside… ;)

What is your solution?
I have the same concern - even shipping stateside. If the package gets lost or damaged, you'll be stuck.
Buying a used ECU and sending to be unlocked, whoever tunes your ECU will still your original ECU's info for immobilizer cypher, right>?

Tariffs are heavy right now if you ship overseas.
We just got charged a $500 import fee through DHL.

We are also working on a solution that doesn’t require shipping ECU out of America

interesting price variance - think they are the same ECU.

Nice to see the Emria on their website-
590 Euro

390 Euro

Come to think of it, the BFlash approach has a disadvantage dilemma, I think. If you use your original ECU to be unlocked (they have to open up your ECU), your warranty is gone. If you brought a brand new ECU and coded by the dealer, Lotus will have a record of that and should you have any warranty claim with the engine, they can also use that against you.

The difference is the Emira ECU must be opened, the Mercedes M139 ECU does not need to be opened.

Interesting, thanks for enlightening me. Assumed the ECUs would be almost identical.

With tuners going down the cloning path leveraging an older MB ECU do you foresee any issues with leveraging the older ECU on Emria ? vs picking up new ECU - unlocking then cloning, thanks
