That's strange, we hit 2.5 bar on another piggyback.Boost will vary based on ambient conditions as the ECU is load based. But around 23-26psi on map2. Stock is 19-22psi in our testing.

That’s from MMT additive in the Boostane, also happens with leaded fuel. Yes it reduces the life of your spark plugs and your O2 sensors, as well as other things. This is good to know. I’ve read Boostane turns your spark plugs orange. Any idea of the science behind this, or maybe more importantly, if it matters or reduces the lifespan of the plugs?
Yes, I remember seeing this clip before. It’s circa 2 bar or 29lb standard, right?
Have a track event at the end of month, I will wait after that, dun wanna have the injectors quit on me lolYes, I remember seeing this clip before. It’s circa 2 bar or 29lb standard, right?
@675430VME Had a chance to install your JB4 yet?![]()
By this point will it have “learnt”, at which point you can remove the ODBII yet the car still retains the smoother settings??You can just route it on a temporary basis when you want to have full logging active for example.

Thank you for clarifyingNo it doesn't work that way. The extra data coming in is dynamic and changes based on real time run conditions. So the OBDII data is only active when fresh/current data is coming in.
Yup. 2.0 is the same. That’s where I ran my power cable for the amp. One person in the engine bay and one in the cabin with a coat hanger. Was fairly easy to grab onto it and pull it through. For those installing this on the V6 cars, instead of drilling the firewall there is a large rubber grommet behind the drivers side that you can use to feed the OBD cable through the firewall. You’ll need to do this by feel (unless you take off the panel but it’s totally doable).

Are you sure that's correct, as that's huge boost! You could pump your tyres up with that. Surely that kind of boost would give you close to 500HP.
How many meters are required for AMG I4 installation?EU/RHD Emira owners who ordered a JB4.
OBD2 harness extensions are now available!
Thank you for your patience!

+1 meter for both AMG and V6 RHD Emira, assuming you are using the bracket from my store. How many meters are required for AMG I4 installation?
Good boy !I couldn't take it anymore -- GRP air filter and JB4 ordered![]()
For sure it’s Safer to run stock on the track. It’s gonna be hot as hell this time of year too.Have a track event at the end of month, I will wait after that, dun wanna have the injectors quit on me lol
We have 4 Emira waiting to get injectors replaced at the Guangzhou dealership. I dun want to get caught with injectors failure with a piggyback on so they can deny my warranty. For sure it’s Safer to run stock on the track. It’s gonna be hot as hell this time of year too.
I wouldn’t expect the additional power would cause injector issues would it? I’d be more concerned about overheating etc when running higher power levels on track.
That is a mechanical gauge, how could it be wrong? I am just saying stock is running 2 bars inline with what Lotus claims whereas JB4's data seems low.Are you sure that's correct, as that's huge boost! You could pump your tyres up with that. Surely that kind of boost would give you close to 500HP.
0-100 was 3.5s. It was a racechip with custom tuning for evaluation purpose.675430VME
[That's strange, we hit 2.5 bar on another piggyback.]This is what I was expecting 2.5psi is about 36 psi, you must be pushing 500hp at the wheels.Do you have a draggy ? with 500HP I bet your able to dip into the 2s for 0-60 subtracting roll-out on a nice day.Which piggy -back are you using?
