I think you did a very tasteful design job and a masterful implementation. Neither is a trivial matter. Most such attempts I've seen look worse than the stock car. You lowered and spaced the stock wheels? I would love for my car to look like this, but I cannot imagine how much attention it must attract.

Thank you so much! I have definitely butchered cars in the past and was fearful this was headed that direction. it's another reason why I think I am going to wrap the carbon hood. (I have an interesting idea with that though that may shape up well.). The only thing left is to have the numbers printed in a professional way.

I hand drew and cut those out myself. (That's why the 3 looks like a euro lol.) I haven't removed them because she's tracked often enough that it would be a pain to do so repeatedly. It's the one piece of the car I'm not stoked with at the moment.

As for attention..... yea, she tends to get a few looks.

A bit of Union Jack action in the same matte grey on those wing endplates would look spot on IMO.

I’m leaving for a couple of weeks in a few days, so I took the Emira to have a nice wash and put on the cover and CTEK charger. Now I’m wondering, do you guys think it is safe the leave the cover on while also having the trickle charger plugged and working? Any risk of fire?

If the charger catches fire and noone is around, you are fucked either way, having a cover over the car doesnt matter.

The charger itself is in a relatively safe place, I don’t think it is able to generate 1 meter long flames if it catches fire. Or is it? I don’t know I’m just guessing here. If that’s the case, I simy can’t leave it plugged in, but then…what’s the point? I can have someone open the garage while I’m away in case something happened.

You worry too much. As long as it’s a good quality charger I would not worry. I’ve left my Noco charger plugged in to tender both 12 volt batteries in my Tesla and emira for over 4 months where my garage temperature was averaging 95 degrees Fahrenheit

The biggest thing for me when I was away for 5 weeks last year was to make sure I could get in the car via the manual method using the LH door to be able to open the engine cover - i.e. don't park too close to a wall on that side.
Also we seem to have a very sensitive consumer unit (modern fuse box) that can trip when there's been a power cut. It's always best to have a neighbour that has access to reset the fusebox. We can go a year without it tripping but of course it will want to do it when we are away!

As far as I know the manual method is on the LH side for all cars.
The easy way to check is to open your door handle and look behind it for the key hole.
As long as you can get in that side and reach that side panel behind the seat you're good to go.
Always best to practice taking this panel off in ideal circumstances - i.e. with the seat as far forward as possible. It can be harder to remove than you would think.

Did you plug in an OBDII reader already to check for any code? Frequently these engine check warnings are triggered by a low charge in the battery, so you may want to plug in your tender and restart the engine after an overnight charge.
