USA/Canada Delivery Thread

Thanks to Paul and the team at Gentry Lane for a smooth, stress free, and top notch experience.

If you are looking at an Emira, this is the place to buy and service it from.

Welcome to the family. Paul sold me my car as well. What City do you live in? Maybe we can coordinate a summer drive with some of the other Ontarioians.

Don't have mine yet but expecting delivery in March. I'm in Burlington and would sync up for a drive. Also I'll keep my eyes out for your rims as well - will definitely be putting some snows and driving it in the winter ;)

Love the idea. I am GTA East. Whitby. Another new owner picking their car up next week is right downtown.

There is a really good road called The Rattler. Basically Severn Bridge to Bala. Southwood Rd.

Lots of car clubs go on it. It's about 30 minutes up to Bala on it from Severn Bridge, and then drive it back. If you are GTA west you come up the 400 to get there. GTA East Highway 12 meets up at Hwy 11. A lot of people meet up at Webers and then go to Southwood Rd from there. Great road, great drive. Maybe a good way for all of us to meet up next spring.

PS - Paul at Gentry looking at doing Shannonville as well. So that maybe another opportunity to meet up but this time on the track.

I would definitely be down for this. I would be coming from the East but this is not far at all for me. I do love driving the roads in Prince Edward County and would be happy to set something up for us there as well but this Northern Road is probably a bit more of what we are looking for.
By the way, I did the Shannonville track day with Paul this year. Was a lot of fun and met some other great Lotus owners. I hope he continues it for next year.

I imagine most here are familiar with the Nürburgring Hamilton?

I had no idea Paul did track days. Does he host / organize them? I'll have to ask about that.

This is me, I'm picking up next week weather dependent. Would love to get in on some of these Southern Ontario events!

Paul told me he organizes them. And at the moment he is planning on organzing one next year.

Thanks for the link on the Hamilton area drive. We will have to do that next year as well.

What is Nurburgring Hamilton?
Is that the windy roads up Guelph Line and the Niagara Escarpment?
I lived in Oakville 20 years before Prince Edward County and would be down for attending/organizing a couple of these outings next year. Here is a shot today at a winery.

My brother who works in the works department in Whitby told me they have sprayed liquid salt down today. So the car is now stuck in the garage unless it rains a lot and we have better weather later this month :( But it was a great two days of driving this car. It handles amazing.

Nice garage. I had a 1974 MGB with chrome bumpers. It was British racing Green but eventually painted a period orange.
How does the 355 compare to the Emira?
We have a 2 Porsche, Lotus and BMW garage.

Well, at least it has good company...

I like those wheels. Where did you get them from and do they do them in all silver?

Thank you. The simplicity of a 5 spoke does go well with this style of car.
They are Aerie wheels and yes they do come in silver. In fact there are at least 2 other forum members with them, one in silver and one in all gunmetal. Aerie took a while to get them to me but the quality is excellent and gives you ability for custom offset.
