Its just a matter of time now as more and more tuners are figuring out/buying unlocking codes for the OEM ECU.
Then it will be a race to be able to tune remotely via OBDII and handheld.

Bench tune at the shop. No remote sessions or OBD2 updates planned at the moment.

OEM ECU or older A45 MG1CP002 ECU?

Directly update the OEM ECU. As such, any future updates by Lotus will overwrite the mods, so will need to re-apply. This is standard practice for any OEM ECU tune, so not really an issue.

Its just a matter of time now as more and more tuners are figuring out/buying unlocking codes for the OEM ECU.
Then it will be a race to be able to tune remotely via OBDII and handheld.

Totally agree! The more tuners with different approaches and methods, the more the community as a whole will benefit. I am in the V6 camp, but really happy to see this development in my area.

Price and turn around time?
A. 45万円+税、納期は車両毎に個別にデータを作成するためお車を2-3週間お預かりします。おおまかな流れは次の通りです。
ECUのロック解除 (ECU の蓋を開ける必要があります) → データ書換え (ECU横のコネクターから接続します) → シャシダイでセッティング & チェック走行 → 完成
450,000 JPY + vat gets you unlocking, programming, dyno tuning, and street testing. We will need to keep your car for 2-3 weeks.

Q. ECU の郵送やリモートでの書換えサービスはありますか？
Can I send my ECU to you to tune and send back? Do you do remote sessions?
A. 実車に合わせてチューンをするため、車両をお預かりする方法のみとします。
All cars are different, and tuning will need to be done specifically for each car. This needs to be done in our shop.

Q. 実車に合わせたカスタムチューンも可能ですか？
Can you custom tune for all my mods?

Q. メーカーによるアップデートで上書きされませんか？
What happens when Lotus does a software update?
A. 残念ながらチューニングデータは上書きされてしまいます。その際は車両をお持ちいただいて再度データを書換えます。これは EMIRA に限った話ではなくどの車でも純正 ECU 書換えにはつきものです。
Same as any ECU flash - the manufacturer's update may overwrite the tune, and you will need to bring the car to us to re-apply the tune.

Q. ブースト圧どれくらい上がるの？
How much boost are we looking at?
A. ノーマルで1キロ掛かっていたところを1.5キロまで上げてあります。あとはログを見ながら実車に合わせて修正します。
Stock is around 1 kgf/cm2 which we increase to 1.5 kgf/cm2. From there, we will fine tune using data logged on multiple dyno runs.

Q. レッドラインは変わりますか？
Will this raise the redline?
A. 今のところは 7,000rpm のままです。
No, we are leaving it at 7,000rpm for now.
