12mm spacers, seems a bit much on front

Is there a before and after pictures with the 12mm and no lowering kit? I’m sure it exists on this forum but many of them have the lowering kit.

Hi Ryan, no issues with your hub centric 10mm ?
I want to order the same, but PCDPARTS tell me they're not sure it fits Emira, and BONOSS refused to sell me this when they learned it was for my Emira
:(

No issues on mine so far.. I have been driving quite a bit on them (about 500 miles so far) and although I adhear to the speed limits everywhere I can tell you I have been on the highway and no issues at all.

The 12mm ones look great and are fine. Had them on but only just worked out no insurance and illegal here if not OEM so took them off. If I could Id put them back on, make a great difference.

Interested in selling one set of the 12mm spacers?

Why would you only want one set???? Ill take half price ($100) for the 2 pairs plus shipping.
Because I already have 10mm spacers and only want the 1 set for the rear tires.

What torque spec should I use when threading the spacer studs + nuts to the hub on an Emira using separate hardware? I hit alerts at around 40 Nm—is that normal or too low?

The studs go into your hub tightened to 34 Nm with loctite blue on them. You then put your spacer and wheel on and then tighten your lug nuts to 105 Nm as per the manual.

To the naked eye, they look exactly like the 12mm ones. You can barely notice a 2mm difference, particularly from a photo shot.
If there's still any doubt that the 10mm ones are also Hub Centric, I assure you all that they are indeed and that they have the lip surrounding the center bore (like the 12mm ones). I wouldn't' have purchased them myself otherwise, as this is exactly what makes the fit precise and vibration free.
I have mine installed already, but even if I were to removed a wheel one wouldn't be able get a better visual than the pictures that PCD posted on eBay for the 12mm ones. If anyone needs any further assistance with regards to special ordering the 10mm ones via PCD, I suggest contacting Charlotte at "sales@pcdparts.co.uk" as she was knowledgeable and very helpful with my special order (they took 3 weeks to arrive in Florida). To special order them, PCD does not want to use the eBay message communication channel. Hope this helps..
Emailed Charlotte. I'm very particular about things in strange ways others don't understand. The 10mm hub centric front and back seem just right... When I look down, I can see the difference with my naked eye and 12mm is trying too hard. (that's what she said)

Glad for you and you should be able to get the hub centric 10mm ones from them just like I did before I moved up to the 12mm all around. To be honest, I'd like to try even harder and increase to 15mm for the rears.

Joking aside.. I think Im gonna lower 10mm

At that point, I guess 12mm spacers is the way to go..

How do you feel about the GRP Lowering Sleeves? I was gonna get the Nitron R1 Fastroad, but I believe its overkill for my situation. Plus, I can get them when its time to replace shocks.

PM me as I have a potential suggestion for you.

Entirely possible to do 5mm drop with the GRP cups.

This is me trying too hard with a 16mm drop with the equivalent wheel offsets of 12mm spacers up front and 15mm spacers in the rear.

As for 10mm hub-centric spacers, I'm not exactly sure how the heck that works. There doesn't seem to be enough space for a 10mm hubcentric to work and actually press against the rotor face with a 12mm long hub interface to make friction force to hold the wheel in place. This is a rough model I have made of the OEM hub interface, a Girodisc front rotor, and a 12mm hubcentric spacer. Anyone got any photos or measurements of how the inside of the 10mm hubcentric spacer is machined?

Section view applied to show you how the 12mm hubcentric spacer interfaces with the rotor hat face and the oem hub lip.

@kitkat

Honestly, doesn't look trying too hard at all. It's a clean look .. with some decent clearance. Damn.. tough decisions..

Did you ever get those girodiscs? Does that play into anything? Nevermind.. read the post.
