This is the second time with this error. Both times the ambient temp is above 90 degrees. Usually after half an hour of driving. Both times I was in first gear under 2500 RPMs. If I shut off the car and restart the error goes away and RPM range returns to normal.
I have a 2024 LE V6 manual with 4k miles
Miltek valve controller and downpipe. I do run with the valve open at all times.
Call my local Lotus dealer and they have never heard of the problem, yet I know others have experienced it.

Should I let Lotus deal with it? Any suggestions?

So is it a defective valve controller or is it the ECU does not like having the valve controller on? Would it be just as effective to turn off the MCV on hot days?

Defective Miltek Module. Just unplug it and put it back to stock to confirm.

I've killed 2 modules already. Both not location related - install way out of the way on the trunk box. They seem rather fragile.

most likely the cables melted, shorted and blew your exhaust valve fuse in your cabin. hopefully just plugging the oem harness back in will do the trick.
