I looked longingly at my Emira from 150 miles away, courtesy of a Facebook post. My vivid red FE2.0 is calling to me. I've been holding out on making the trek down there to see it in the flesh, hoping for good news this week. But my will is growing weak...

Today I collected my car back from Hide and Seam... I had the following done....

Steering Wheel: Re-trim with red stitching and red leather centre stripe

Gear knob: Etching painted red and gator leather re-trimmed with red stitching

I still find it strange how Lotus do not offer this on the manual V6??

I purchased a battery, a dashcam, got some center caps made for my wheels I accommodate Lotus badges, and handed off my door sills to a local restoration shop for painting.

What type of battery did you get, was it a lightweight one?
Do you mean you have decided to paint the alloy door sills with the Emira name on?

That’s a pretty good price for all that work. I’d like the centre strip on my Alcantara steering wheel.

I got a lightweight but higher amp hour Antigravity battery (to help facilitate the dashcam's radar mode) from @GRP. I'm having the door sills painted to match this.

I might have gone with the shorter battery so I could fit the dashcam extended battery in the same compartment, but I'm really looking forward to it.

And yeah, ever since I saw @Eagle7's image I've been smitten.

It's the little things - That looks sooo good... I am so tempted to get the extra door panel bit re-trimmed in red leather when mine finally arrives. I am getting red leather interior too. Like the original interior renders, but they changed to black leather on production cars. Would be worried about getting a good enough colour match though.
