Exhaust System Upgrade Options Available for Turbo I4 AMG Engine Yet?

Pipe is finished. Should be arriving next week.

Any Progress
If you want a straight pipe setup, valved or not, we could get them done. Would need a couple commitments to make it worthwhile though.

Where are these shipped from? I’m in the USA

I ordered this exhaust from Mach5. They are providing the valve controller for free for my order in exchange for reviewing/promoting it. It’s the same way Boomgear in Guangdong China runs their valve controller. It’s suppose to be “remote” so it doesn’t get fried from the heat. I honestly don’t know what part is remote so when I receive the thing, I’ll see how it actually works.

Look forward to your review. What is the cost for this muffler?

I don't know if a muffler system is going to do it. I really want to hear a straight piped system

Prepping to install tomorrow. Just guessing but I think you'll be able to pull the whole thing out of that access panel.

For what it's worth, this pipe was shipped from Russia. (Now redstar makes sense lol). It looks high quality but if that's a deal breaker for you just letting it be known.

You are correct that the downpipe can be taken out through the access panel. First time will take a while but once you figure out how to waggle, it becomes a 15 mins job.

We've obviously seen many available and proven exhaust system upgrade options for the V6 Emira. With the I4 Turbo being newer on the market for about a year in most of the world and a few months here in the US, does anyone know of or have implemented viable and proven exhaust system upgrades for the AMG powerplant?
Yess. We have an option for it: i4 Sport Exhaust

The lower V clamp: do you need to access it from under the car? its at a pretty annoying angle the way they tightened it up.

See my install posts on this. It’s best accessed by also removing the bottom engine pan/cover. It’s just another 15 or so bolts to remove. Very easy and the extra access is essential. Again, read my posts for “why”.

Welp... I did it without with some extensions thru the wheel well. Def would have been easier from underneath for the brackets probably but it's do-able.

I'll put together my own thoughts and pictures later. Just got back from the test drive.

Cue series of videos of everyone waggling theirs...
It's a pain in the ass no doubt. That Cat doesn't leave much room for waggling. The catless is a dream all bolts are accessible easily from the top other than the bottom V clamp
