@Eagle7 - If you need another reference, the red Evora is these evening shots is Fire Red.

Same car indoor as well.

When I placed the Magma Red disk on the Fire Red Evora (indoors), they looked identical. I did not take any outdoor comparison shots.

I could notice a big difference between the sample and the yellow (I think maybe liquid yellow?) Exige that was in Bell & Colvill. Perhaps its also a different shade, but if the yellow was like the one on the Exige I would for it without thinking, as it is the yellow is not an option for me.

There's also the fact you are paying top £££ for a first edition and typically metallics would be the more expensive option.
Hopefully by the time the i4 FE's start rolling off the line they'll have sorted the quality issue with the lighter metallic colours over different body panel mouldings in the new automated paint shop and/or brought in the next 7 colours in any case...... 🤞

I’m hoping that the magna is a lighter red than that, but that evora is a beautiful colour too . I suppose it’s all down to the lighting

Here's the Magma Red sample against a Fire Red Exige outside on a sunny day. The sun is behind the camera in the first shot and to the left of shot in the second. There's quite a lot of reflection off the building and nearby cars but you get some idea.

Totally agree. I don’t consider Fire Red a good colour for a sports car… too dark, with maroon/brown tones. Some photos I’ve seen of the speedforms show Magma Red as more orange… definitely not maroon. Here’s hoping. If I’m spending $200,000 on a car I really want it to be a beautiful colour…

I think I've got the color right, but there may be too much metallic reflection. For those of you who have seen actual cars in Fire Red, are these closer?

The thing with Dark Verdant is it's so dark, the Black Pack is almost not noticeable. The only thing you'd really notice is the black lettering on the rear and the black exhaust tips.

These renditions are unbelievable. Thank you.
Working solely with the configuration I went ‘safe’; Hethel, black pack, diamond cut wheels, red callipers and black leather. Then I saw your early Verdant Green and was torn between above with tan or red seats.
Now I see your latest green which is darker but also throwing different undertones. I’m lost!!!!
Which green is the closest and do tan or red seats look better against this more moody presence?
SOS!!!
Thanks

@Eagle7, I really feel for you with that red... emulating it is a true bugger. Those Evora shots are pretty telling, even though they're in cloudy conditions. The highlights in the Fire Red almost don't have any colour at all... perhaps the metallic fleck is silver?

Anyway, I took your top render and Photoshop-replaced the red only next to the side view of the Evora. Slightly bluer hue (but not much), heaps more saturation, heaps lower brightness. Then I sucked the crimson out of the highlights.

Sadly, it's not a bright candy-apple red, but still quite classy. I wonder if this is closer?

Tan is more traditional, but I think they both work, just depends on what you want to live with.

Sorry I don't want to break up the party here. But the configurator loads a strong shadow on the bottom of the car. Anyone else getting this? Don't like how it shows the car anymore.

Yeah, which is partly what prompted me to do my own configuration images. That's supposed to be the new improved configurator, and it's just not good enough in my opinion to give us a reasonable idea of how our choices are going to look.

Ok, that's one of the things you were referring to in your OP. That needs to be fixed. Excellent work producing these. This thread is my new configurator!
