What did you do to your Emira today?

I have no clue to be honest. In the description it says they just added ppf so it might as well is just nimbus with very strange lighting. I asked them through DM but never got an answer. But that is basically the colour I want. I ordered DV because I always wanted a green(ish) car, but its just VERY dark. I thought if I wrap it its ok with DV as its so dark you dont have to wrap the door sills etc. If you go with a similar colour.

Of course this is very much different but I really like it and will consider and ask them if they have something like this. Or I just PPF the DV and call it a day…
There are an increasing number of colored PPF options. Mine is from Flexishield, but I saw XPEL and several others are offering it. It wasn't way too much more expensive than just clear PPF from the shops I talked to. I really liked the purple coming with the 2026 Emira's so since I was getting the car wrapped anyway, I figured I'd go for it. Flexishield had the closest color to what I saw on Lotus' website, but with the added pop of being somewhat matte-like.

Put it in Car Capsule for winter and now waiting for May 1st to drive it...

Did you also wrap the doors on the inside and the sills etc?

I had them do the gap in between the doors, but not the insides or the sills - several of the shops offered that, but it was another 50% in cost just for that little bit, and they said it wouldn't last all that long due to the doors opening and closing on it. My car is Atlantis Blue so depending on how the light is shining on things, when the door is open, you don't even fully notice the difference.

So PPF is available in colors?

I dont know if I should PPF my coming Emira or to wrap it. Would love to get this colour:

the color most close to this is "Ultra Gloss Khaki Green Vinyl Car Wrapping Film"
I'd suggest wrapping your car then putting ceramic coat on top. It will be thousands of dollars cheaper and pretty much the same protection on normal roads. (Tracking your emira or driving it every day hard I'm not sure)

My other two cars are wrapped satin black and the Emira has PPF on the high impact areas, so I have experience living with both types of products. My buddies Emira is completely color changed wrapped and it's looked flawless for over a year so far.

After having my Emira PPF'd I had the shop ceramic coat the whole car. After some days the PPF shop had to fix some pieces and replaced one, and they told me that XPEL PPF already comes with a factory layer of ceramic coat, so no need to re-ceramic coat the new piece. Anyone can confirm this?
