I heard they’ve delivered 3 Emiras last week.Has anyone taken delivery from Boardwalk?
Very strange / opaque process re: PPF and warranty. Would love to learn from anyone's experience.

Kyle told me he cannot get and thus (to his own frustration) cannot give any info on PPF, financing, and warranty. Finance department owns that and presents it "when you're taking delivery of the car" - or can present it live if you go in beforehand, which is not easy for me given distance. I'm asking for Finance to call me beforehand so I can learn more. Can you elaborate? From what I understand once you get the call from Kyle or Tom that your car has been unloaded from the truck they reach out to you from the finance arm of things to see about PPF from their installers and financing. Financing communicates about the extended 7 year fidelity warranty.
I haven't heard any details about the extended warranty such as if it covers paint.
Just say no to all of it and bring your own financing. That dealership is obviously set up with poor practices, no need to play along and feel pressured during delivery. "Let me run that by my finance manager 🤓, now look this third party warranty will cover everything, just don't call us to help when your n claim is denied 🤠"Kyle told me he cannot get and thus (to his own frustration) cannot give any info on PPF, financing, and warranty. The idea of making live decisions on all of the above at the time of delivery with no information previously given is absurd, so hopefully Finance actually rings.
Yeah, it’s really just PPF I care about…Just say no to all of it and bring your own financing. Congrats! Eurocar ghosted me when I asked about ordering and whether they'd be adding markup or not, haha. Thankfully I was able to find one at Los Gatos Luxury and picked it up last week!Just finished paperwork. Great experience w Zack from Eurocar - Lotus Orange County. No ADM. No talk of PPF or Ceramic. Mild upsell on extended wty which I politely declined. He even arranged transport down to my PPF shop in San Diego for $400. Car looks gorgeous in person. Happy w Nimbus/Red. Panel gap seems fine, Ac blows fine at all levels, rear hatch clicks nicely from about 12 inch drop, Reverse lock-out springs back nicely. They got 6 in - 2 DV, 1 black, 1 Vivid, 1 Seneca, my Nimbus. Said no issues w any so far. Now juat have to wait for my PPF. They say they will start SOON...
We are brothers, I have the exact same spec! (Almost)At long last we meet! (Eurocar - Lotus Orange County)

Not to be confused with SenecaNice summary! Some one off stuff like doors not opening too, but this doesn’t seem widespread.
Basically buying a Lotus is like rolling dice. Hope you don’t get snake eyes!
I should have said 'panel fit'. Was a concern for me ever since I saw this on the MFR models they had for original test driveWhat do you mean by "panel gap"?
We're all brothers ❤️We are brothers, I have the exact same spec! (Almost)
Oh, okay. Thanks! I'll be picking mine up in Buffalo next week and trying to make a list of what to question/look for.I should have said 'panel fit'. Was a concern for me ever since I saw this on the MFR models they had for original test drive
Just ignoring phone calls and teams work messages, to focus on Lotus Emira content. One of us!I should have said 'panel fit'. Was a concern for me ever since I saw this on the MFR models they had for original test drive
I picked mine up from Boardwalk last week. Below was their PPF package. They said it was offered by Lotus. They also offered ceramic coating for $3995.Yeah, it’s really just PPF I care about…
Thanks for this! Very helpful. Do you happen to know if theirs is pre-cut vs. bulk film (i.e., will edges be visible or not)?I picked mine up from Boardwalk last week. Below was their PPF package. They said it was offered by Lotus. They also offered ceramic coating for $3995. I purchased their Fidelity extended warranty for $3995 for 7 years 70k miles.
