The people have spoken: Emira is cooler than a Huracan

Nicest butt around…

Personally I think the Huracan, and most other supercars, are a bit too over the top. The Emira does 'supercar' but in subtle way. I know it only gets to 60 in a smidge over 4 seconds and a true supercar gets there in less than 3 but in the real world that is completely irrelevant.

Looks wise the Emira is 100% supercar
Performance wise it's 80% supercar
Cost wise it's probably less than 50% supercar

Oh and it fits in my garage.....just.

I like the attention, if it brightens up peoples days as much as it brightens up mine then that's a good thing.

If you drive a lambo in Dubai (and there are plenty of them) 99.9% poeple will think its a rental car which is maybe for 50-70% true too. With the Lotus they have no idea what it is and turns the heads if the tourist who come here every winter to film and photo cars on the streets. Last year at a car meetup the organisers who lead the cars to parking spaces even said let the McLaren thru… my son was laughing what did he think this was a mclaren.. im still laughing, most of the time you get the super car treatment anywhere fancy you go. Ppl have no idea its a car 1/3..1/4..1/5.. 1/10th of the cars next to it. Hand down best value for money :) you cant speed anyway and the sound is amazing especially with the mods I have

This is the usual lineup

It's been 'scientifically' (😆) proven that we have the minds of children into our early 30's.

From the Independent newspaper :
"One of the most surprising findings is that the period the scientists refer to as “adolescence” starts around the age of nine years old, but far from ending when you reach your twenties, carries on for over another decade until you are in your early 30s."

At the age of 54, I beg to differ - I'm dreading the thought of growing up.

When I leave the street where I live I can almost guarantee a young boy will flap his arms about and cheer when I drive past. I also get nods of appreciation from motorcyclists.

Never had a car with such a positive reaction.

I don't care if the kids are 9 years old - in my head, I'm 9 years old too - Ask the Mrs! 😁

That's not a car park of strugglers...

But whhhhhhhyyyyyy?!!! I can somehow comprehend a CAR costing that much, but a tiny piece of metal that has no function at all? Geez!
I guess when you have money to burn, you need to find more and more ridiculous ways to throw it away and also let others know just how super rich you are… maybe that’s it:unsure:?
