Small lip spoiler

I would. Can't imagine it's hard to line up then stick. There are techniques to peel the backing off while it's in place as you stick it down.
Many videos about it.

I installed it myself with painter’s tape to guide the sides and edges since the width is just a hair short on both sides by 1-2mm. Used 3m adhesive primer. Should be very straight forward once you do a mock up with painter’s tape.

anyone do a self install on this? Considering it. Lotus said $200 and I feel like they’ll do a good job but still…

Self-install. Takes 5-10 mins. Please don't spend $200 for someone to install something that takes 5 mins. I'm pretty sure everyone on here who ordered it, self installed it.

Okay def gonna do it myself, need to take the car in for updates anyway and just asked about them putting it on and that seemed egregious for what it is.

Okay, you were all right about how straightforward that was. I think the carbon fiber works well on the shadow gray but it’s the only carbon I have on so going to see how I like it for a while.

I know what you mean. Ended up doing the side skirts and mirrors to get it to match a bit more.

I have been looking for this exact lip spoiler, if anyone finds one please send me the source.

I didn't get one nor I am interested, but go back to post #19 of this thread and you have all he info there.

Wouldnt the oem 420 lip even be cheaper? (Unless you want the carbon one)

I go back and forth on how I feel about the look of this. Sometimes it looks good, other times it looks a bit goofy and out of place, being that small and covering only the center portion.

I know what you mean regarding the goofy look of it, but from my point of view, it's all of the time. Imo, it's nowhere as stylish as the lip spoiler on the 911 pictured in the first post of this thread. Actually, with the exception of the front splitter, I find all the 420's add-on bits to look almost cartoonish, detracting from the elegant lines of the car, worse of all are those slapped on fender vents.

I struggle with it as well. I wish they completed the look by adding the two edge pieces something like this….
