New 18inch wheels installed!

Wider wheels don't necessitate wider tires. This is a really good article that explains why you would want a wider wheel in relation to tire size.

Apparently the best thing to do is to get a slightly wider wheel but keep the tire that same size. It will give maximum performance

my decision I think was when I looked at suitable 200TW tires. I found there was a much better selection in the stock width. Otherwise, I would have leaned towards GT4 width
Got it! I have my wheels, tires, and TPMS units that I need to mount. I’m in the middle of a move and almost there.

let me know how it goes! btw, you put the JUBU brake ducts on, right? How have you found them?

I did! I love the fitment and they seem to work great. I never threw a temp gauge on for a side by side comparison though.

thanks, I'm plan on ordering them
Do you think they will fit given I've changed the wheel set up?

I fitted them to my car too. They are really nicely done and very easy to install. The rears should fit fine with your revised wheels I think. The fronts might be fine but might need a bit of fettling on full lock, depending on your width, offsets and wheel balance weight positioning. They will still help. Remember to let the guys know you are an i4 (they will probably check anyway), as the rears are different from the V6 variant for obvious reasons. Think about whether you want to order anything else from them at the same time as the guys worked with me to help on that front and shipping 2 sets of Pagids and the cooling ducts was the same shipping cost as just the ducts on their own.

I agree with the above. Worst case, a bit of minor trimming would solve the issue if there is any rubbing.
