ah ok. Sorry to hear that...I'm not sure that's safe with the stock seat passthrough.

It is really interesting! I think it's the hardest part of the track now. There's huge lateral Gs to try to get the car positioned on the right for the new left and that turn is majorly off camber. There is nice curbing space on exit which I enjoyed. I tried a few different entries - earlier and later apex, still wasn't sure which was best. More fun and challenging than the octopus which I found more of an exercise of patience. Do you drive at NJMP?Nice driving!
What did you think of the new configuration of the track? Does it flow better, more momentum carried?
Interesting, thank you for the feedback. All the years I have gone up and down the east coast tracks, never actually drove NJMP. There were always a better track event some place, even though I am only 1:45 min. away from NJMP. Shame on me. I also missed out driving on PittRace. I certainly have regrets. It is really interesting! I think it's the hardest part of the track now. You get so much more contact with the road. Even with the camber gain with the stock setup it is not enough for track work.when did you put the control arms on and had you maxed out OEM camber prior? How did the before and after compare and do you daily the car at all?
Back on track today with my new "upgrades". Car is fantastic on track now.
When I first took it on track last year, it was clear it was more "GT" than track focused (not a criticism, per se, just an observation). After selling my Type R, the i4 became my only track car and I decided to start modifying. My mods:
-Just changed to 18 inch wheels - Track Addict through GRP - and put Advan AO52s (had Falken 660s). The combination of the 18s with the AO52s felt great
-Upgraded rotors to Girodisc this month
-I had maxed stock camber last month (1.3 and 1.6 in front, 2.3 in rear)
-EBC blue pads
-Nitron R1 coilovers
Before these changes, I found braking to not be the best and it wasn't agile. With the changes above, braking is now excellent (I attribute a lot to the Girodisc rotors - can't believe how much better the brakes feel)
I'm so happy with these changes and it's a beast on track now. With these mods, it feels
like it's getting towards Porsche GT4 territory, hence the selection of video from today's track.

Trying to avoid engine changes whilst under warranty. Did you go with JB4 and Tl exhaust?I wonder how it would have done with a JB4 and TI Exhaust with downpipe
Yes the car rips. 3.2 0-60 11.3 1/4 miles. DCT is holding back.Trying to avoid engine changes whilst under warranty. Did you go with JB4 and Tl exhaust?
