Instant weight loss and no strict diet with Tillett Seats!

Yep^ What @kitkat said.
No fix for US cars yet.
We have tried a number of things but no luck.
It will require an engineer to create a module that tricks the system.
If anyone has a friend etc that can help out put them in touch!

are there any full white design (to match the white emira interior) with the LOTUS name on the chair (again to match OEM design language). if its possible I'm interested

There is no SRS airbag fix for US/Canadian spec cars yet -- the problem lies in that there is an occupancy weight sensor in the passenger seat as per required by federal standards. This isn't a simple resistor fix, there's a module that communicates the passenger weight to the SRS system for arming and disarming.
I hate this sensor because it goes off even with the cell phone being on the seat

assuming the last round didn't work? you were getting some part(s) and were pretty excited - and, would it be possible to transfer the weight sensor from the stock seat to the new seat? in a way that doesn't destroy your stock seat? lol

In the UK they have a key switch to turn on and off the passenger airbag. For whatever reason that didnt make it to America. Is the answer to retrofit one of those in and then you can key it to off, stopping the system from faulting?

EDIT: The location is in the glove box. Its that circle dent area in the US spec cars on the right side.

I was thinking about this as well. However, I'm guessing the ECU has to be configured to recognize this as well (like most other car features).

I tried and failed...lol
We were hopefully the euro glovebox switch might just do the trick but no luck.
The srs system is configured with or without it, not all the same. And it cannot be changed (spoke with a Lotus tech friend in depth about it)
Its only the NA spec Emira's that seem to have this issue with the passenger occupancy sensor.
The passenger seat could be gutted and then the sensor and harness bundled up under an aftermarket seat intheory but it requires the seat to be totally pulled apart. We havent done this personally.

Its likely the guts are shared Volvo parts. Those are probably easier to get ahold of.
