i4 Tuning Underway....

Yes this was exactly my point it is always better to have lower intake temperatures it benefits pretty much everything even if you are not looking to make higher total power
Normally you'd see a loss of power using meth without a custom tune but I guess this is a tune and the ECU is adapting. I was seeing max 30psi on the new tune without methanol and then when meth is turned on seeing 32-33. I'll keep testing but planning to keep methanol spraying all the time (we have bad 91 gas in Cali)

Ive also been using E30 for the chemical cooling effect. I wonder how much that compares to your chemical cooling method

Do you need your ecu tune tested in hot ass Texas weather? 😃

ok udpate I forgot to add few weekends ago - after being very happy with methanol my car got super angry with it and started stumbling very badly everytime there was spray on throttle. Shop theory is the ecu can adapt beyond it's normal parameters just for a little bit, probably drive cycle timed, but at a certain point it goes "uh, this isn't normal" and the cops show up to shut down the party. Mixture is just too rich without proper tuning, so the methanol system is just set to off right now until the whole CPC thing is sorted. Boo.
Car still rips though! so fun -can't wait to hear DocRon's impressions this weekend

Looking forward to your feedback!

can the ecu be flash tuned via OBD2 once it has been sent in for unlock ?

Alright had a break in the rainy weather this morning, drove my back country 30 mile loop just now to test Stage 1 tune.

TLDR: this is how car should have been tuned from the factory. If this Inokinetic Stage 1 tune is more powerful than the 420 tune, that is unfortunate for the 420. Definitely more torque in the low end and through the mid gears especially between the 3500-4500rpm range. On hard acceleration, the front end definitely feels lighter. Definite horsepower increase compared to stock.

This might actually be enough. I cant imagine another 50hp/50+tq when the CPC gets cracked. (I mean i can, but the question would be why?). Lol

Overall, very satisfied with this upgrade.

Any plan for dyno?

Please do. How smooth the curve is etc. would be of great relevance to the forum I'm sure
Same here, would be great to compare curve from different tuners.

Thx Ron, it feels fast for sure but you have so much more seat time so I appreciate you opinion.
