Emira Titanium exhaust interest...

Did yours come with the valve, like the picture that shows it on your bench? Mine didn't. This is what mine looked like, which was supposed to be V2 (V1 had a different valve mount setup). Mine as you see it in the picture below, weighed 11 lbs 14.6 oz, which converts to 5.05 kg. The muffler body on yours definitely looks different.

It surprises me that yours comes almost 2kg lighter. @Aerie can you please shed some light here? Decat and muffler is 7+kg on my setup although it looks much slimmer/lighter than the v1 hence opted for v2.

It came with same like you the place for the valve controller which has been removed from stock to the aerie one. The only problem I faced was the spring did not fit in between the controller and the flap so my garage had to expand the spring to make it work.

Yours certainly looks fancier. It may be that the single piece of metal that wraps around the muffler body on mine, is lighter than the combination of the two pieces that wrap around each half on yours, plus the connecting brace pieces, plus the extra y-tubing. Yours definitely looks like it has more overall tubing than mine. At first glance it looks like it should be lighter, but turns out it's heavier?

It does but id rather had the -2kg off tbh.. if the sound is same. Yes the v2 looks better but nobody sees that.

Anyone else had problems here? I've had two gaskets blow off the same connection between the Aerie titanium Y pipe and the exhaust. The dealer is charging quite a bit to fix this as well.

No, I didn't get their y pipe, nor did I use the 3rd cat delete. Their exhaust is connected to the factory 3rd cat on mine, and I haven't had any problems so far. I don't track mine either, so it doesn't get extreme use.

Update from the factory: the nut had backed off almost all the way. This is what happened when I installed it and when they did after the gasket blew the first time.

You didn't use lock washers on it??

Yeah, this sounds to me like an install issue, not an exhaust issue. Now, if the flanges don't seat perfectly, that's an exhaust problem. However, I'd still say why wouldn't the tech have mentioned that at the install, if that was in fact the case? Without pics, hard to tell.
