Well this wasnt today but I picked up my car from tint and ppf on Saturday.
Its a full wrap of stek dynoshield plus stek windshield. Its also tinted with 15% llumar irx on the doors to match factory privacy and 50% on the windshield. Time to get some miles.

Learning to tame the car's understeer/oversteer. This car has a very hard time breaking grip unless you're at speed. But once you're there, it wants to rotate quickly. Still trying to figure it out.
When the first Emira’s were making the rounds, I had the opportunity to test drive a yellow one.
The salesman rode along, and during a spirited onramp approach, the back end started to come out a bit unexpectedly.
The salesman was repeatedly saying for me to brake! which made me laugh.
After we got onto the highway, I told him that “you never lift”

So true. I love the silver on my Nimbus, but don't wash it very much. Between the bugs and dust, it gets rough after a few drives. I wish I'd gone black to just to cover my sins. I just touched it with a wet rag to see how bad it was.
Pretty bad.
Last fall I powder coated my wheels to a darker charcoal-ish color that I've used before on other cars. I always laugh because I call the color "brake dust".
This morning I was adjusting pressure before a drive and thought about how clean they "look". Here is essentially the same picture of the front wheel with about 300 miles of back roads. I used a wet rag in the same place to wipe off the dust.
This is a pic of the whole wheel before wiping the dust.
Really no comparison.

I get about the same hue by leaving brake and road dust on my gloss black ones. Yet, yours are great.
Yeah, over the years my interest in keeping a car perfectly clean has waned. Nimbus with the new wheel color is a match made in dirty car heaven!
Nice save there. Btw, I think you are describing pretty much every mid-engine car. Setup for grip, a little more difficult to control oversteer vs. front engine, rear wheel drive where the oversteer is easier to induce and also control.
With the stock tire stagger, I imagine it is quite difficult to break rear traction without actively trying to do it or overdriving. I haven't done it yet.
edit: I have broken rear traction late at night coming out of a corner with very cold tires. they have no traction when cold.
Perfect candidate to answer this: how do they compare?
They must be dynamically different. Same plan, different execution?
Between the i4 and the V6? I have an impression thread here or do you want something specific?

I have same color wheels /calipers and I spray wheels and calipers with Adams or Meguiars wheel cleaner and take aWhat do you use to clean them? I have so far just used a neat citrus wash, which does OK, but wondered if there is something better.
I'm lazy, so anything that can be sprayed on and sprayed off is a plus
1 inch paint brush and cut bristles to 3/4" and while still wet work the wet cleaner all around the calipers and spray off
with power washer when they are really dirty....Then when not to Dirty I use Soaker gun with wash and wax and hit the
wheels and tires with it then power wash and dry with leaf blower...Then at times I will use a spray wax like F11 spray
entire wheel and tire, calipers and rub it in and dry..For doing deep into wheel I use a 12" long paint stick with rag and
clean in between spokes ..I have been pretty happy with this ...Then after summer will remove wheels and super clean
everything and will ceramic coat calipers and wheels..
