Supercar you would take instead of the Emira

The USA/Canada Delivery Thread is getting a lot of work! I am hoping to divert people's attention for a bit! If you could have any car, what would you get? HOWEVER, You can't flip the car, you MUST drive it, use it, park it in the same way you plan to use the Emira (DD, track, etc). And yes you have to service it too. Hence would you use a Bugatti Chiron the same as an Emira?

If there is no other car, feel free to stick with your Emira. For our global members, now that you have gotten to drive the Emira, same question, what would you trade for it?

Me? My Emira will mainly be a weekend mountain car, I will take an 812 Superfast.

Sorry, I will edit my post to make it clear. What would you choose instead of the Emira, money is no object. You must drive it in the same way and can't flip it.

I have an LC500.
It's a FANTASTIC automobile.
I was supposed to sell it for the Emira.
But it's too good.
I sold a couple other cars instead.

I'd get an old 911 like a 964 and soup it up so its raw and powerful. Black, no spoiler.
Or i f money is no object I'd get something liek a Singer.
Or maybe a 992 touring GT3, black on black, manual.

No seriously.. Can't flip and money is no object? What about service costs? My Evora is a lot cheaper to maintain than a Ferrari or McLaren. This is such a tough question..

I guess I'd want a Ferrari. Maybe a gated F430 or Scuderia if I could find one. That's always been my dream. Huracan Performante or Evo would be sweet. The new Aston Vantage is awesome too!

If price were an object, as it likely would be, I would choose one of the following:

a 2021 Evora GT, preferably in green

or

a Lister Bell STR Lancia Stratos replica

Next up for me would be a 458 Spider. Would be nice to have the last NA mid-engine Ferrari with the last ICE Lotus. Also the Spider would make up for Lotus not having a convertible option.

- Carrera GT
- LFA

Pretty much leaves the 911 Gt3. Or 911T. That said 911 is so ubiquitous it’s a fun drive but visually a boring option.

Honestly, there is nothing within cooee of the Emira price wise that is anywhere near as desirable.

None of them at any price are as desirable as the Emira, so the standard “just buy a Cayman / 911“ is irrelevant to me. Boring.

The just announced Artura Spider is a very good looking car, but again will be three or four times the price.

Perhaps the answer to the question is an Emira Spider...

Yeah I like the 296 GTS. Wonderful blend of modern and retro styling. You can open the top, too.

I realized back in November that a Huracan was more money than the Emira, but not _THAT_ much more, so I jumped ship. I still think it was a good call. A friend just bought a 458 this week and it would also have been in the running - that thing is a musical instrument.
