Porschephile here. I also used to drive a 2020 Evora GT. Always felt something was lacking. Didn’t like the first addition of the Emira Very pleased with the upgrades since.
Recently took delivery of a 2026 Emira V6SE 6-speed manual. Hethel Yellow with metallic Chapman Racing Green top. It’s spectacular. Some of you punters on here have trashed that color combination in another thread. You have to see it in person. It’s the best. Far more impressive than the black (which I had on the Evora and disliked). Far better than body primary color on the roof, too. What matters is that I love it.
After about 700 miles I’m enjoying this car far more than any of my three Porsche GT3 cars. Even more than my three Ferrari cars (360 gated Spider. 599GTB, 430Scud). It may not be faster but it is quick enough, well balanced, and dialed in nicely. Brakes are maybe a little touchy, but am getting used to it. The engine, supercharger, transmission all that stuff are great. Sport suspension is superb for me. This one may not be for all but I wouldn’t have it any other way. She’s a keeper.
