Pre-Delivery Checklist

As someone who has recently bought a 2023 v6 manual with 4k miles , these are the issue's i've had since i bought the car. Currently awaiting a trailer to take back to the Lotus garage .

Power Steer Pump oil leak > major issue as no oil left > being replaced
Faulty o2 sensor > minor issue (i'm hope) > being replaced
Difficult to get into first / second / reverse > known issue and lotus technician's are supposed to be onsite at one of the lotus dealers and so hopefully they can resolve.
Broken Sun visors > being replaced
Previously both doors replaced due to bubbling.
Drivers window movement > assume due to door seals
The rubber cover fitted
Drivers floor mats lugs don't stay in
Overhead boot / trunk rubber seal loose.
Kerb rash alloy (well hidden) > i know it's not a lotus issue but worth triple checking previous owner hasn't tried to hide the damage
Looks like you have the full house of all the known issues. Do you mind me asking - where did you buy your Emira from - is it one of the Auto100 ones?

Plus some of that (steering pump) you would have thought would have been sorted by the first owner?

yeh, i guess the good thing is all these have been caught under warranty!
i got it from a dealer in Burnley but it was originally from bristol as thats where the previous services had been done.

yeh it's a strange one as the MOT was in middle of jan and it was a full pass with no advisories. So in 4 weeks the engine light came on , actually on the day i drove it back , and the descovery of the failed pump.. Go figure! Lets just say im paying someone to try and get the history of the fault codes to see when the faults started. its only done 4k miles though so its a slim possiblilty that alot of the issues just havnt been descovered till i got it.

Last years service was on 04/25 and it had only done 3660 miles and this years was 4200 so very little miles in the last year which is why i wanted it as it was one of the lowest milage on Autotrader in UK for same price as the others with 7k +
