I am going back and forth about the Black Pack. This is my build but can't decide Black Pack or Not! Would you be able to show this car with out the Black Pack? Hate to ask but this reproduction is really good.

Needed to answer some questions for myself. Here's that nimbus photo with diamond cut wheels, yellow calipers and upper black pack.

@Magicman you were looking at the same thing right?

(also, have mercy. I think this is my spec. Just debating tan leather or black alcantara with yellow stitch).

thanks @Bren! i am changing slow to nimbus grey..it is a bit too dark for me, i would have liked it more "silvery"

bear in mind that photo is quite under exposed so it will be quite a bit brighter in person.

Saw a grey Volvo today hat looks very similar to the Nimbus shades we’ve seen here. I think someone else’s mentioned it. Might not be the same but They should be fairly similar.

You can sorta see a bluish regular grey 5 series in the background for reference.

The Road Show color disc paint sample (earlier in this thread) is darker and richer in appearance than the Volvo. I photographed it at the Austin reveal against a metallic Grey sedan. Other examples in sunlight and not exist here as well.
Yes, it is exciting to contemplate and anticipate. Oh to see a painted car.

I’ve seen Nimbus under different light. It really shows the contours as it changes hue on different panel angles. Also in strong light there is a bronze/gold undertone…….I think it’s a classy colour. It’s not dark like the other grey, which has a blue undertone.

@roundincircles would you say that it is darker or lighter than McLaren's blade silver? was hoping for lighter similar to the configurator.

Can't say definitely. I never got into Silver Macs......always VRed or various oranges for me!

I'd say Nimbus is very very similar to Blade Silver. In strong direct light they both appear lighter than on an overcast day, so you see photos of Blade Silver where it looks to be noticeably lighter or darker depending on lighting. Nimbus will behave like that too. Lotus Storm Titanium has a similar behaviour but is darker. Nimbus has a slight bronze tone which isn't so apparent in Blade Silver.

thank you for the description. It's so difficult settling on a color without seeing actual photos of the full FE ensemble in various conditions.
