Just listed!
Sodium tech batteries that are I4 Emira compatible. (also work in the V6 cars)
Many have asked about saving some weight with a battery replacement in the I4 cars but the AG lithium batteries have a BMS that doesnt work well with the I4 cars alternator charging technology so it has been a no-go until now!
These Sodium tech batteries have been verified to work properly in the I4 and they also have a nice price point compared to the lithium units.
Weigh in at just 16lbs and have a big CCA rating of 1400+

Hi Greg,

Can a trickle charger for a regular battery (non-lithium) be used for this?

As long as it’s a modern battery charger/trickle you can use it on these. Lithium or lead acid rated works.

Thanks for bringing more options to us, Greg. 16lbs is awesome. I believe the AG T6 (40amh) weighs 14 lbs, so they're very comparable.

So to confirm, our Lotus supplied battery tenders are good to go, correct?

Several of us have been using this for a while, no issues just replace for any normal 12v battery (in any car). Also running the battery to 0 has no effect on the battery's health long term - great battery seems to hold charge a long time too

Yessir!

Works with Evoras too?
Have not test fit in an Evora but it may be a slightly tight fit, the battery box area is a hair shorter and usually we sell the T6 size for those which is about 1/4” shorter iirc. These batteries are not made in that size. (I will triple check myself tomorrow)
