This is in the Owners Manual but here is a real world picture.
1. Remove PITA panel behind LH seat (driver's side seat for US spec)
2. Look for wire loop and pull to release trunk lid. You don't have to yank or pull very hard.
3. You may or may not need a second person to lift the trunk lid while pulling wire loop.
