Lumbar supports not working?

I bet that the cars that they used during testing have many thousands of miles of use, and the bulging lumbar area have been well compacted to the point where no one is having any more back pain issues, and think the seats are just fine.
I’ve had the car for 2 years. The seat shape did not change during that time. Pain was always there - after about 1 hour of drive. Other than this the car has been great.

These recaros are going into the revised Nissan 370? Would have been so much better if lotus went this direction. They look like the evora GT seats. Might be the same.

These are rebranded recaros I think. Very comfy and functional. Too bad they decided to spend energy to design the emira seat vs install aftermarket. I think they legit spent a lot of energy on the emira design which looks great, but they aren’t going to outdo the racecar seat pros in function.

I think the new Toyota GR GT comes with high end recaros. I would have much preferred that. Might have been cheaper for lotus in the end too.
They are the Sparco seats out of the Evora 400 (2015 on). The Recaro Sportsters were fitted in the S1 Evora (2009-2015). The Recaros are the better seat and quite a lot of complaints from many owners that they switched to the Sparcos in 2015 when they facelifted the Evora. Having owned both I can definitely say that the Recaros were more comfortable than the Sparcos and so are the Emira seats (for me at least).

The Sparco seats in the Evora 400 were a nightmare due to the cover coming away from the back of the seat. Lotus issued a fix with some metal clips, but surprise surprise, they only half fixed the issue!
